@@andymatthews7617 Please use your brain. So I don't see where the problem is when you see a text in Italian that contains many words that roughly served as the basis of English. I hope you were told in school that English is a non-native language made up of other languages. That a large part of this language was brought to you by the more developed peoples during the civilization of the islands. The Romans and also the French .. even the French language has its basis brought from Rome. Study something about the Roman Empire and the post-Hastings period and the cultural colonization of the Barbary Islands.
