Here's where I pin a comment to remind you guys to read my video descriptions. Also, I'm wondering if some RMs were just plain fictitious as I haven't found a real-life equivalent of that 1992 GTO RM for GT1. I guess it could be found on another car in real life like how the FC Mazda RX-7 Infini III's Castrol Racing Mod resembles some Castrol racing Mitsubishi race cars from the 90s.

Most of the RMs from GT3 and 4 were directly stated to be fictitious in their descriptions in GT6, though some like the RX-8 Concept LM were based on real-world liveries like the 787B.

@@rapidemboar4625 That's true, they were for the most part with some real-livery livery inspiration. The Renesis liveried RX-8 Concept LM, the NSX-R LM GT1 inspired NSX-R Prototype LM, and the Ford GT Concept LM with the Gulf livery. However that's the thing, they have liveries based on real-life cars, that's what I'm wondering about here. Can I find the livery on the GTO RM somewhere else. Oh and I don't mean to be that guy, but those weren't RMs. Those were straight-up race cars in GT3 & 4. The PS2 GT games didn't have that feature at all.

@@RandomCarGuy17 You're right, I mixed up the LMs with the RMs, my bad.

The only thing I can assume through the 1992’s livery was most likely a throw off of the one you found or maybe it was a knock-off/parody of the ‘GT-Originals LM’ GTO LM in a different way. Anyway, love the vids dude!
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
@@ericdrake4076 It does look a lot like the GTO LM, so it could just be an alternative version of the same livery. Making it fictional. Thanks for the compliment. Though I can't help, but think there could be a race car out there with this livery.

I really miss these GTO RMs from GT1. They looked so much better than the ones we got in GT2.

Same here, except for the 2nd part. I still quite like the Puma liveries, I just would've preferred keeping both.

I think the reason why the '95 Supra had its RM scrapped for GT2 is because of the Denso Sard Supra GT being licensed, with Polyphony going "We've got the actual Denso Supra this time around, we don't really need this fictitious one anymore."
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
It could be that, but remember, they're different year Denso Supras. Plus GT2 still has the 1996 Castrol Supra GT while gaining the 1999 version.

Crossing fingers that we see more of these JGTC gems come back to us. And that 1996 GTO RM looks interesting, it reminds me of the XJR15 challenge car.
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't mind seeing the 1995 Denso Supra again as an actual race car this time, versus just being a RM.

I've been referencing your video to recreate these cars in Gran Turismo 7. Keep up the good work. So far I've gotten the Viper, GTO RM, Supra JGTC, etc.

Awesome job mate! This is exactly the content I'm looking for for my GT7 liveries! 👍

The Dodge Viper GTS-R showed up in later titles too, such as the #51 Team Oreca (Chrysler corp. branded, 2000-model) in GT3 as well as in GT4, and the Dodge branded #91 Team Oreca in the PS3 era

I reaaaally want the skylines RMs back in GT7 😭🥺
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
You can kinda replicate them now in GT Sport, the racing modification was nothing more than a racing skin applied to a road car just with aerodynamics added. GT Sport has a livery editor (and so will GT7), just replicate your favorite paint scheme and you're good to go.

@@RandomCarGuy17 sure but the body kits in GT6 are necessary to make them accurate 👍🏼, I really curious how “wide body “ option in GT7 looks like, hopefully they meant racing kits
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
@@mohnnadmercedes8246 True for some, but none of the Skyline RMs necessarily had a body kit. Really, the R32 Racing mod for instance has about the same aero as a normal R32 GT-R. Well except for the Nismo GT-R LM, but that it was kinda modelled like that already before the RM. The wide-body option shown in GT7 is likely just wide-body kits, I don't think there's going to be any specific racing upgrades coming from that.

On the video, the car's speeds on GT1 doesn't feel like it's on km/h. That feels more like on mph.
@RandomCarGuy173 жыл бұрын
That's something I actually forgot to leave in notes, it's supposed to be in mph. Whenever I use cheat codes in GT1, the measurement will change to km/h instead of mph. But only the measurement, the speed will still use mph.
