Here's a super fast route but it's for more skilled players: Get all licenses > get all gold on time trials > use the Panoz to beat the amateur GT all starts and win the Toyota GT-ONE Road car > complete the Polyphony Digital Cup (the gt-one is the fastest car in the game that can compete in the event) > collect the F094/S as a prize car. You now have the fastest car in the entire game.

Andy Chase it was a strategy, you could go through it and lose a lot of speed in the dirt, miss one turn and lost some speed but go slower through the turn or just do it properly. That should be a license tesy

I remembered the old days, I bought a Storia X4 as a starter car because it was cheap (11,000 credits) and look powerful (118 hp) but it was quite weak on acceleration, I was stuck on the clubman championship for several months without winning a single race. My father help me to progress in the game, and he bought an impreza sti (the one att 31,000 credits) by selling several prize cars and since, I always loved that car the most among the JDMs and was the first that I fully tuned up. Last years, I used it to compete with lm race cars, and it has done pretty well.

Got to be the AE86 Sprinter for me, then do either the Sunday or Clubman Cup (I can't remember which), win the NB MX5, buy some slicks for it, then do the MX5 endurance race. You then also have a car eligible for the 80s Cup.

I like a challenge when I play, so I usually pick the Suzuki Alto Works. It's not as fast as most of the affordable options and certainly will slow down on hills (like on Deep Forest and Trial Mountain), but does give room to upgrade a bit and after some tweaks it can be very agile. Besides that, I chose that car because I have a soft spot for Japanese Kei Cars.

I always went with the MX5 1.8 (the one with 128 HP compared to 118 HP in the 1.6 version) The cost of the car (16,900 credits) enabled you to fit a racing chip at the start, giving you a little boost to start out with.. If you upgraded that car fully, you could easily do all of the beginner league events (where that car could enter), and some of the Amateur League races as well. It could even compete in the Dream Car Championship (only the race held at the Test Course though), due to it's phenomenal top speed of over 330 km/h (roughly 210 mph)

I still can't believe I put a PT Cruiser on one of these "best starter cars" lists. I thought the Pontiac Sunfire in GT4 was odd, but that at least was a car you could get for free. Honestly, I probably will still drive the Miata out of all of them.

The Cruiser is genuinely one of, if not THE smartest choice because of its event eligibility: 1. Stars & Stripes. It's the cheapest car for this race and needs some upgrades but given the lacklustre prize cars early in the game, you'll likely invest more into your starter car. That's where the Cruiser (and Miata) stand head and shoulders above the rest. The big coup here is you win the Camaro SS, capable of winning Amateur and Pro events which is remarkable given we've only just started the game. 2. NA Cup: Rare occasion where NA tuning is more efficient than turbo, enabling you to tackle this event instead of the Turbo cup (and that 3000GT on test course - an uphill battle early in the game).

The funny thing about the game is (not criticizing the video) the clear obvious choice of best starter car is the MX-5, with the only other decent choice being the AE86, and these are literally the first two cars you win in the game. So design wise they just give you the best starter cars in case you bought the wrong one at the start

The Sprinter was the one for me. Hustled up to a Dodge Viper after that. Then grabbed an F1 after winning super speedway races. I think I got the viper up to 260+mph on that super speedway.

My latest adventure: (mind you, I have no problem grinding) Miata------>25-30 races Clubman Super speedway------>get Nissan Sylvia (the one thats like 26k) and a racing muffler Sylvia------>grinding @ Beginner league championship Super speedway 80-90 races (10k every 4 laps)-----> Jaguar XJ220 @ 780k. Tyvm I'm set for life lol Note: you'll have to buy a few upgrades for the Sylvia along the way....sometimes you'll have to race against a Super AutoBacs MR-S who can hand you your ass easily.... Once you're able to get your lap times around 40 sec and total time around 2m 50 sec, you'll be fine

For 700,000 or 800,000 you have the pennzoil GT-R which is better in my opinion than the xj220 and quite cheaper than other lm race car. You can will all amateurs races with it. The tyres last long. That car really gave me momentum in the game. You can do the GT-R championships in amateurs where you earn 30,000 credits for only three laps. Then I was enable to unlock / buy many of the lm race car.

I have the japanese version and started with the mazda demio. Then I did the sunday cup and won the trueno, did the clubman cup with that, the mr-s was really hard to beat on the deep forest race lol, then got the green miata and grinded previous races to get a stage 1 turbo on the miata. Got the b license, did more races with the turbo miata and saved up enough to buy the white evo 7 rs and the game really opened up for me from there. Now I have f1 cars and tons of other cool race cars. Crazy how it can all start from a simple 100 hp car. This game's wonderful I still play it.

The last race of any series, the AI will bump up the difficulty to mess with your driving confidence. I've noticed this so much while playing this game.

Even with the beginner league gran turismo world championship, I used a rally car but the autobacs mr-s really turns it up about 7 races in. Definitely one of the hardest gran turismo games when it comes to winning everything 1st try

Best one for me is the mx5 you win from the B-license. Not too hard to get with some practice and can easily win the Sunday cup, the clubman cup and the beginner FR & NA sports challenges

I've done GT1,2, & 4 already. You just to have to search on my channel for them. GT5 is currently not installed on my PS3 and my harddrive is near it's limit on there, there's no room to install GT5 again. For GT6, PD makes you buy a Honda Fit as a first car, so you really don't have a choice.

Mazada miata can enter the stock miata endurance race and net you a race car right off the bat if you win. Its difficult because your racing against superior miata models. I remember i barley squeaked out a win by pinning 2nd place behind me as i crossed the finish line with worn out tires

Ae86 for me grinded, did some endurance races with it till I had enough for a Dodge viper gts, maxed out the engine, put super hard racing tires, got the 787b from the like the wind race, did endurance races(forgot which ones) to get my hands on the f094/s and f094/h as well as the f090/s and it's smooth sailing from there👌

I eventually moved on to the Mazda mx-5 Mk1 (1800) and fitted a turbo and did all sorts of mods to it. I still drive it but these days I am working on a Toyota Yaris 1.5 RS

@@RandomCarGuy17 wanna know something? In the past month i got b, a and ib licenses in gold. I can say b and a are pretty much easier than rally. I didn't know why it felt easier to me. My strategy was getting the Impreza to win all the rally events and farm the rally prize cars until you get the escudo for completing all rally events. Then you will have a lot of money and good cars. Now I see, you can get gold on B licenses and win the miata and use it in roadster endurance to win 100k credits and another miata (or even a f1 car if you're a lucky mf)

@@7senza the only license test I managed to get all gold was the b license test and man it took a lot patience and anger to get all gold but it paid off to save me 18 000 cr for the Mazda miata but the rest where Impossible to get gold on for me plus I did endurance race with all the Miatas got a f1 car
