Here are all the tracks on the GT3 OPS2M Demo, except Trial Mountain and Laguna Seca which are already playable. So if you want to see them, check out my gameplay video of this demo. Anyway, there are a handful of beta tracks that were later cut and some more familiar tracks which contain beta features. Thanks to GTPXenn for the codes!

Test 2: Short track oval. I wonder why only Turns 1 and 2 are banked. Round: Circle track, apparently the 30m one from GT2, or perhaps a completely new one since it seems a little smaller. Test: Figure-of-8. Has a really bad glitch on the bridge. Super Speedway: Seems to have some missing scenery, but seems to be the most finished of the shown tracks. Oddly, it's the GT2 track updated to GT3 standards, covered Turns 3 and 4 and everything. SSR5 Wet: Has wet tarmac and physics but the track is identical to GT2 SSR5. Unless it was like that in the final (excuse me for not having played GT3 that much), it seems weird. Rome: Clearly a WIP of the GT3 version of the track. Missing some scenery. SSR11: A hybrid of the GT1 and the GT3 versions of the track. Scenery seems to be from GT1, but some of it already deleted to make way for the new scenery, some of which (like the tunnel and some sponsor logos) have already been applied. Roads and walls use updated textures. Track still uses the GT1 layout. Tokyo R246: Contains some glitchy, unproportional trees after turn 1. Lots of missing scenery. Isn't barebones, but still seems to be a quite early version of the track. Seattle: Seems to still have some low-quality GT1 textures here and there, but seems mostly finished. Is set during the sunset, like the final version, but the headlights don't come on yet, while in the final, they do. Apricot Hill: Pretty much finished. Still has some missing scenery. Midfield: Same as Apricot Hill. TDR3: Being a leftover from GT2, quality issues are quite glaring. Scenery on the main straight is completely gone. Apart from that, it's identical to GT2, bar the scenery and outer barriers of the last few corners being completely gone. Tahiti Maze: Home straight is still dirty, though this was changed for the final. Track seems like a GT3-ified version of the GT2 track. Deep Forest: Near identical to the final GT3 version. Test Course: Couldn't be any more barebones. Apparently, Test Course was just started. At the start of the showcase you can see what appears to be the tunnel that would end up in the final version of the track. It's roughly the same length as said tunnel. However, the track seems to have originally been planned to keep its 4km length. Complex String: Lacks any sort of scenery, but was definitely worked on more than Test Course as it contains runoffs and proper road texture. Monte Carlo: In addition to missing scenery, a lot of the scenery that isn't missing still lacks its texture, making it appear a bland, solid white. Exiting the tunnel, you can spot a glitch in the background in which there's an empty space in the mountain. Smokey Mountain North: This track does not appear in GT3 final at all, or does it? Vastly different from the GT2 version, with a tunnel near the end that was never there in GT2, updated textures, and now set during the sunset. Like Seattle, however, no headlights. Seems to have been worked on quite a lot before being scrapped as there's very little missing scenery. Starting place is wrong, however, leaving you off the map. Smokey Mountain South (Swiss Alps): Already uses its GT3 and onwards "Swiss Alps" layout, but the map still points to its GT2 layout. Some missing scenery. Circle 100: A bigger circle track. This one wasn't worked on much, unlike its smaller counterpart. Like Smokey Mountain North, the starting position is in the wrong place. Also, cars are overly shiny when playing this track, reminding me of the "rogo-test" track from GT1 which was a version of Autumn Ring Mini with the same problem. Grand Valley: Looks almost nothing like the final, resembling more a GT3-ified version of the GT2 track. Inside kerb at Turn 1 is different from the final game. Different road texture, with center marks, which aren't there in the final. Missing scenery in Turn 7. Different cliffside texture at the exit of the first tunnel. Bridge after the 2nd tunnel is completely different and resembles more the GT2 track. 3rd tunnel has no lights at all on the left side, which was changed in the final, and a gigantic empty space from the exit of the 3rd tunnel all the way to the final corner, and missing advertisement boards everywhere. Grand Valley changed a LOT in the final version, and I wish they at least kept the old bridge.

I love how Super Speedway in this is a higher-quality version of the track in GT2, complete with awnings over the bleachers and the latter curve of the track.

Great video as usual Matt. I kinda wished that PD kept the early version of Super Speedway in GT3, it looked a lot better imo. These early demos of GT3 also explain some of the obscure pictures I've seen in my GT3 strategy guide.

I mean just look at the reflections at the night maps. It reflects so incredibly fast, it looks like a game coming of a PS3 almost.

Never knew the original SS R11 was in the beta of GT3. They even rounded off the chicane underneath the starting area. Also, this version of Grand Valley appears to be a remaster of the original. Completely different to the version that was present in the final build.

Test 2 and Test: Two strange test tracks. Test 2 starts you out going the wrong way, and has cones in the banked corner, which BTW, you can't knock them down like cones in the final, and they change to black from the front bumper cam. Also, the cones seem HUGE compared to the final version. Test has the strangest / glitchiest crossroad ever. What was this supposed to test? Running under the road like at tracks like Midfield and SSR5? And it has strange squares which change colors in major collisions. Round: Likely to test GT3's turning radius. Super Speedway: Based on the GT2 version, with changes made to modernize the track. Also, am I the only one to notice a glitch on the windows of the pit lane building? (half the windows are blue, but the other half are brown) SSR5: Only the wet version exists in this demo. Clearly based off GT2's SSR5, the track doesn't appear to be finished as the reflections are similar to the ones you get if you load Circle 100 (later in the video) Rome: Identical to the final product. Different / missing boards appear to be the only difference. There is a noticeable difference though. On the main straight, the grandstands on the left are missing. SSR11: Originally used its GT1 layout. Some elements of the course are completely different, such as the tunnel turn and the area after it. Tokyo R246: Unfinished. Only 1 AI can drive the course proper, and there's some untextured buildings here and there, and much of the course is completely different. Seattle: Mostly finished. Different road texture, missing ad boards here and there, Potenza billboards were older Havoline logos here (like the Havoline boards you see in GT2), grandstand missing in the last turn before the final chicane. Apricot Hill: Unfinished. Lot's of scenery missing here, as well as lots of very different sections of the track. Midfield: Little bit different in this demo. Mostly finished, with some elements coming from GT2. I kinda like it better than the final version. TDR3: Unfinished. Lots of missing scenery. What's finished looks identical to its GT2 version. Tahiti Maze: Unfinished as half the AI stop at the start, then start back up again. Quite a bit of scenery is missing. It appears it uses the GT2 layout, with a modernization as there is a tarmac section around the same spot in the final game. Front straightaway looks identical to the final version. Deep Forest: Similar to the final version, but not by much. While some sections are identical, others are very different. Such as the back stretch with the two tunnels, the first tunnel is completely different. I like this version better. Test Course: Very unfinished. Looks like it was just started just days before the demo came out. I still think this is an extremely early build of Test Course '00s (a.k.a. Driving Park Test Course) rather than Test Course '90s. I recently did a race on Test Course '90s in GT2, and used the RUF CTR2 like the one used in this video, and I didn't shift into 6th gear in the turns like you did. Only way to know is to search in earlier demos for Test Course... Complex String: Uses a different, and much harder layout. I like it better. Cote D' Azur: Very unfinshed, lots of untextured buildings. SMNorth: Similar to the final version. Most notable differences are the Dodge boards from GT2 rather than Renault boards, and the location of the first checkpoint. SMSouth: Unfinished. Uses old layout for the track map. Missing scenery here and there. Incorrect start / finish location. Circle 100: Very unfinished. Reflections similar to SSR5. Set at a mountain like setting rather than the night time city setting in the final. You start in the middle of the track. Grand Valley: Based off its GT1 and GT2 versions. I like this version better.

Nice! Very cool to see the tracks in what must be a pre-alpha state, especially Monaco. Grand Valley looks totally different as well! I think I think I like that version better, actually.

Looking back at this game, you can just see how ahead this game graphically was compared to other games in 2002 when this demo came out. I still think to this day with GT6 that Gran Turismo is one of the best racing games of all time.

I see they didnt develop Monaco much more than it was in Gran Turismo 2 :) Also, with demise of releasing demos, we cannot expect anything like this with PS4 gen GT. Thats a big down for me. Internet caused this! :)

Most of these tracks look so bland. The added so much stuff later that we take for granted. The tracks are basically gran turismo 1 and 2 remastered

The beta version of Special Stage Route 11 used the old GT1 chicane layout. I kinda wish they hadn't redesigned it in the final version. I like the original layout more. They should bring that version of Route 11 for GT6. Or they could give us the old & newer versions for GT6. That would be pretty sweet.

It's weird seeing the GT2 textures and models in GT3, some parts of the map like Super Speedway look a lot better.

But what I don’t get is what the developers try to test with these random test tracks like the first one. You can’t properly test physics here, the game engine, graphics, AI driving. I only see a debugging aspect especially since you sometimes fall into the void or glitch into the ground. That makes them useless for developers to test anything

+KaterinRU I think it actually was because he chose Laguna Seca on the track selection screen, but for the tracks that have no map finished I think it just loads the map of the track you selected on the track selection screen (think it works the same way in GT1 and GT2). I bet you if Matt chose Trial Mountain it would load Trial Mountain's map instead.

actually you can have those for real just first complex string in time trial, rome go race , first track you hack it its laguna seca next treack was in the lisense super speed way you can have it in every ting for race not like this but you can have this, ssr5 you can have it in the go race iven in wet mode its esay, ssr 11 to,tokyo r246 to, seatle in go race and license ,apricot hill to mid feld and Tahiti maze to smokey mountain grand valley , and the rest of them are laguna secs glitch up or race glitch up

(Still continued!) The Tahiti courses has the better sky, and the objects for the background are totally unfinished. Did they just deleted the building on the Deep Forest's starting line? I can barely recognize the Test Course as I thought the CTR2 is floating. The Complex String has a wider corner after the 90-degree chicanes, mor curvy S-curves and the building at the starting line is missing. I've been laughing by looking at this Monaco GP-hilariously awkward!!

It is in the game. It's called complex string. Used for the licence tests and to test your car on. No races on it though but you can do a time trial on it

The 2nd track reminds me of the skidpad track from NFS: Porsche Unleashed. Big skidpad inside of a circular track, it exists and is located in Weissach, Germany.

What controller are you using? It seems like you can maintain your speed without completely letting the go. (Dualshock 3). Are you using a pressure sensored controller perhaps?

The first three is very awkward, especially the "Test" one. Totally no idea for it's purpose. The Super Speedway is exactly the same as the Netz demo-the HD edition of the GT2 one. Wet Route 5 has Route 11 night view? Kind of awkward for the dawn after raining. I miss the old Rome and Rome-night in GT2. This one has the better sky than the final version.

Looking at some of the Beta tracks in this demo, it looked like Gran turismo 3 was initially going to just upgrade the graphics of certain tracks, retaining their looks from GT2. And thank god they changed SSR11's layout slightly in the finished product, as the GT1 layout pissed me off in the all-night endurances

Man, Special Stage Route 11 is so much better from GT 1, beautful sky, sunset, etc. and driving under freeway. Especially Rome Night from GT 2. PD really should bring both tracks back in GT6. They are amazing tracks and tons of fun if playing ONLINE!

(I'm just glad this is the last part of my comments...) Something's very wrong with the Smokey Mountain North. How can you start on the top of the bridge? And I don't see the reason why the South course is removed. Please don't tell me that 'Smokey Mountain South' is the Swiss Alps. How I miss the old Grand Valley-the PS1 one is like a course near the city and valley, but afterwards it's just a circuit based around the valley. The final version one is too lame!

(continued) Very, very awkward to delete the old Route 11. This one should be called Special stage as it's longer, and the final version one should be Clubman as it's much easier. (The double chicanes are difficult, got it?) That's an unfinished Tokyo R246. A fenced first corner for Apricot Hill? Is this necessary? And now GT6 has the whole scenery makeover. Red and grey bricks on Midfield's tunnel walls? Very interesting but shame to be deleted at the final version.

Let me give you a better explanation. On how to access these tracks via hex editing the data that exists on the disc in real by hexing the correct offset for a specific track. You may need PCSX2 and some hex editor used for editing Cheat Engine, and some type of decryption to view the files to get the correct offset in Cheat Engine. First you find the offset for an existing track, then once you have that find the offset of the other track that you can make PCSX2 think the set of instructions for disc leads to one of these tracks or cars specifically. It's kinda hard to explain since the ps2 uses 16 byte size for tracks only, and 8 bytes for the cars.

Daniel M (I know i'm late but still gonna reply). He meant using codes on Game shark, Action replay Max...etc so he could play the hidden tracks in the Files.

+arjun shergill yep, still is called COMPLEX STRING, play the finished ver (Gran Turismo 3 A-spec) and you will be flipped out! hehehe! >:3

Well, that's something I didn't notice; The Swiss Alps rally track is basically Smokey Mountain South with a couple of different sections.
