I loaded 2 never before seen tracks, that were unplayable in demo versions of the game. They have some issues obviously, but it's great to be able to play them finally!
I have just recently hit 10K channel views, and also broke 3K views on a single video, big thanks for it!

The GTC car mod is a little limited and problematic, my version will probably never be released for many reasons. A full proper mod will probably be released at some point, by someone else, or if more tools come out, I might release a proper version.

Hey, awesome that you're working on a mod for this game. Is it in the realm of possibilities to change the ai in it too? In gt mode they will actually not turn in fully, which is the reason why they suck most of the time. Also in many earlier races they aren't at 100% throttle input, making them even slower. That's the biggest flaw of this game and most other gt games imo, slow ai. So it would be amazing if that would be fixable.

I don't think it will ever be possible to modify the A.I driving lines sadly, which could fix some issues, but it might be possible to tinker with the A.I, like the throttle thing you mentioned. I also think GT3's A.I is a bit easy and dumb, so it would indeed be nice to be able to fix it. I know there are settings in the game for A.I throttle stuff, catch up boost things etc., I cannot adjust them yet until new tools are made, but if it ever becomes possible I will definitely work on the A.I.

@@Misuka I don't mean their driving lines in particular, those are actually rather good. The thing I meant is how much they actually turn, you can see it in the replay when you activate the full hud. You, as a player, when pushing the analog stick fully, the wheel on the hud will turn 90°.but when the ai turns, it will only go half of that. You can also see their throttle input that way. It's kinda hard to explain, but they basically don't push their analog stick fully (if they were using one). That's the reason they will often hit walls and go off track (especially noticeable in mid field reverse, the fast S-turn where they always slam into the wall, or the long 180° turn before the 2nd tunnel). And another thing is their Tyre choice ofc, they pit way too often. Well, those are just some extra suggestions for the future, you're already doing great stuff. Keep it up!

@@Misuka tcrf.net/Gran_Turismo_3:_A-Spec#Arcade_Difficulty Here's a link to the regional differences from gt3. In the section Arcade mode, you can see the power level and cornering speed in all versions and difficulties. That's what I meant, the cornering speed. When playing on hard in arcade mode in the japanese version, the ai are a lot faster than in simulation mode and do actually provide a good challenge because of this. It's like in sim mode they're always at 80-90% cornering speed or something. So maybe those 2 variables, power and cornering, could be changed in the same way. But I guess we have to wait until that's possible.

Nice Work! Since those tracks came from demo, but they doesn't work there, could it be that their format was new and so compatible with full release only? Would be cool to have the old route11 layout in final game somehow

Yeah, that's what exactly seems to have happened here, that they tested with a different format for tracks and decided to start using it. If we somehow obtained a late (probably January 2001) beta/proto of the game, it probably would have all the old style tracks, but in the final format and in a more finished state.

@@Misuka This shouldn't be hard. Store Demo vol. 2 is on archive.org just like for example PurePure Volume 0 from February 2001. And if I'm not mistaken, Lu probably made few videos about hidden tracks from Store Demos

@@KaterinUA5 Well, it is, there's only a single known beta build of the game that contains tracks that are in the same format, and it only has these two.

What makes the second track special? As far as I can tell it's Laguna Seca. Is there any details that separate it from the one in GT3's released version?

It's a version of Laguna Seca that wasn't playable in the demo it was featured in. It's different from the retail version, but I don't know all the differences.
