This is what I like to call a liftback for exactly the same reason you stated. Also, I wish they were RWD in real life. The one you could buy brand new here in Australia was FWD and reportedly had terrible torque steer

They are indeed RWD mate, we had them in 86/87 in turbo form. They had a modified T series Gemini chassis architecture.
