I agree when I was racing in d and c lobbys I thought whi the hell enjoys this it was only when I got to the higher B ratings and into A is when it actually became not insane and actually nice to play.

Actually I found once you got up to AS the guys were so entitled they just take you out if they feel you aren’t carrying enough entry speed. Even if they were scrubbing. The field of dickheads gets greater the faster you get imo

Had the exact same issues with Luisete_Honda on my lower split account. They give no space and then get shirty with you when they make a mistake and crash. Also raced Düscha. Well, I say race ... let's just say their handle is indicative of their driving 'skills'. Aren't lower splits fun? 😂

btw I am happy to share my GT-R and 4C tunes in exchange for the RS tune? Have won in lower split C with both GT-R and 4C; GT-R is as fast as the Porsche, and 4C has pace(ish) but has incredible tyre wear ... I went 12 laps on mediums!

1:30 TeamHun 1-2! 😂 that hairpin is truly awful in reverse, the lefthander uphill leading to it means the car goes light and you lose it a bit just before a heavy braking zone.

Hey, this might be a little long, but your comment about the car going light got me thinking, so for anyone this might help, this is just a theory but... . . .I have no real world experience with cars, but be seeing and feeling the way they react as a passenger, and by playing a few sims now (as a novice) alongside a little knowledge on how gravity and wind resistance affects mobile objects I have a theory on how to mitigate car lightness on elevation changing hills, humps and corners. In theory, by slightly extend the period that you come off the accelerator BEFORE your normal breaking point to slow the car down a little before breaking throws it forward, this means you can break your usual distance but don't have to put 100% into it from the get go, being able to break lighter means the car can roll/tilt slower and less suddenly, with a car that is already becoming "lighter" meaning less of the rear tires leave the track less and all four tires keep a more balanced contact maintaining more stability. go do hot laps (time trials) Start with the above and make adjustments to suit your driving style and lines, then practice adjusting those breaking points and breaking pressures and note the results (preferably physically over mentally) then the same again with entry speeds (both higher and lower) you'll quickly figure out what works for you including back up plans out of all the other good results. now you'll be able to use this knowledge to make different adjustments on the fly during races depending on whether you have an open road or whether you are behind or battling opponents. got someone blocking your corner entry to defend? cool, you know know the perfect line for this speed and track position, you'll get him on mid corner or corner exit and if there's too many others around you to gun and overtake in mid/exit, fine, you'll still use that good exit to catch your opponent on the straight or claim the inside racing line ready for the next corner. remember, if you accelerate hard, you throw the car backwards, brake hard, car throws forward, if gravity is trying to lift your car from the rear, you can theoretically (slightly) fight back by tapping hard on the accel before your braking zone, but only a fluff so as not to actually speed up and overshoot your corner, then apply your practiced breaking method you've been learning. if car wants to lift at front, just apply the above strategy as usual, timing based on what you learned in time trials, car with throw forward during breaking anyway, so you don't need to pre-empt that. Anyway, anyone who understands cars better than me want to try this out?? I know we normally try different braking lengths etc anyway, but wondering if anyone wants to do it on gt7 or another sim with good attention to physics whilst actively thinking about the fight to plant the car harder on the ground without having to drastically change anything that mechanically adds downforce, this would mean you can keep your preferred setup for a track but fear that weight changing corner less and take it more confidently, added confidence can add seconds. Edit: btw, if your lobby drives like this one does, you have ZERO chance of effectively testing the results in an actual practical race setting so..... . . .GOOD LUCK 😊👍

I haven't tried racing others yet. I feel like I'm nowhere near ready for that. But I am enjoying (for the most part) creating liveries. Mainly with my favorite color combination of lime green and hot pink and MLP. I created a Rainbow Dash livery (red, white and blue with clouds) for the Renault you were driving.

You should SO get on track with other people... as much as you prepare, you'll never ACTUALLY be ready for it. Jumping into races with other people will teach you a LOT more than racing against AI. E and D lobbies are literally for learning, C gets a bit more competitive, and B is a shiteshow of people thinking they should be A, and lower A drivers trying to keep their A. Leagues are great too... find a good league (or I just HAPPEN to know of a few (including Hun's discord) that are full of people that can coach you. I love racing games ya? But since joining the sim community... I have become addicted to the SIM portion rather than just racing. Real people are so much more fun to drive with!!!

Hun, motorsport is cruel, in all forms, if it's not the drivers, it's the weather, if not the event management, the lack of this or that, it's really not what we see the cameras shooting, it's more like a sleepless, stressful weekend that gets your adrenaline pumping, not only on track and pits, but at the flag points too. By day three of a major, they're having hungover biffs on the way to their points, so sick of each other. So in reflection, GT is a joy in comparison and our bank accounts are still ok!
