This is what exactly I am looking for! I am constantly hitting 1:50~1:51 mostly because I cant make the mid high speed S curve fast enough and I can't make the seaside turn correctly even I have look at the fatest replay in record. looks like I shouldn't straighten my direction after the first left turn, and should keep the left steering and slide through that corner

Here’s me with a controller and TCS1 pleased as punch for getting a 1:50 🤦🏻♂️😂 Thanks for the guide as ever. Keep up the great content 👍

Me too mate , but i'm stuck at 1:48 with controller .. i would advise you to run tcs 0 and abs weak , the wrx is smooth enough

@@Kireth TCS off and just got a 1:48.5 on out lap. Was on for a low 1:48 on 2nd flying lap but then I ran out of qualifying session time. The WRX is soo stable and can really twat it over the kerbs (technical term) without unsettling it. Thanks for the advice. You’ve got yourself an extra sub 😊👍

Ive seen that left hander after the orange barrier taken with a VERY light brake and no downshift, 5th gear sll the way through to the hairpin. Potentially a couple tenth of a second maybe

Great guide. I've been stuck in the 1:48s but I've been loading one of the top 10 ghost during my quals to try and chase. This analysis will be a big help, especially maintaining speed through the chicane.

Great lap guide. I've been looking for a more thorough guide for the dailies. Recently moving into DR. A and need to cut those vital .100's to stop me from dropping back into B all the time. Liked & subbed 👍

Question... I practice a ton and use a Logitech G923. I'm consistently 1 to 2 seconds off your pace. Using same markers, gear's, etc., Should I expect by not using a fanatech set up, that I will never be as fast? I can't even crack a 1:48 on this weeks Dragon trail.
@JayBayRacing2 жыл бұрын
It's a tough one tbh, there are people that are incredibly fast on all kinds of equipment and even controller. The thing that fanatec equipment helped me with was having more feel in the brake which is where you can gain a lot of time but if you really want to be fast on your current setup it can be done 🤙🏼
@Kireth2 жыл бұрын
The Fanatec gear won't necessarily make you faster (it didn't make me faster)

Nice vid, I’ve been dropping to 4th at the 2nd chicane, so I’m also stuck in the 1.48’s… I will try 5th…. Does anyone know how to reduce the vision cars to 850pp for the last menu book? Many thanks..

My go to videos since I started playing daily races a few weeks back. Appears you don't use tcs, I always run tcs1. Would you say gearing you suggest is still optimum for tcs1, or can you shift into 2nd more as less concern about spinning out when getting on the throttle exiting/during turns. Out of interest do you ever run tcs1 to see how your times compare, or are you at advanced level where yiu know it hinders/slows you down? It gets on my nerves sometimes, feeling it remain active and slowing my exit speed,but I'm not consistent/good enough to turn it off and complete a race without spinning out, so play safe and leave it enabled.
@JayBayRacing2 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark glad to hear it! I would still recommend the same gearing for TCS 1 as long as you are carrying enough speed. It's less about traction and more about getting optional acceleration. I don't tend to ever use TCS any more as it will always be faster to get used to racing without it but if having it on gives you the confidence you need on the throttle then stick with it!
@B802832 жыл бұрын
@@JayBayRacing cheers boss. This morning I turned it off and I was having no issues on dragon trail and the wrx. Lap time down from 1.51 to 1.49, with plenty of scope for obvious improvement on a few parts of tge circuit, so it's all good! Yeah, like you say, annoying part with tcs (at least on this car), is it feels like tcs is hindering acceleration when exiting turns.

Excellent video! So, what link or app are you using to show how here you are in terms of DR? I see that you are at or above 74K. Thanks! ✌️

Hi there! I'm not aware of any apps that have access to the full DR info as of yet but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully before long things like Kudos Prime will have access to the full data
