DD+ here. I have the FFB on 4 on GT7 that is strong enough for me!

New sub to your channel, like your content it's almost like you are answering the question that apply to me unlike some of the other channels. Just ordered DD Extreme bundle Feb 29th, site said 4-7 days wait before shipping. Hope it gets here this week, I've heard some bad things recently about delays at Fanatec. Keep up the great content!

@gstylez909 Yes I received DD Extreme exactly 7 days from placing order on March 6th, actually ordered shifter and handbrake Saturday the 9th in the morning and it will be here tomorrow. Everything is shipping from Texas in US. I think they have their shipping issues worked out at least here anyways.

Hi Aubrey, thanks for the video. I have a simple question for you. With the same force, for example 5 Nm on DD Pro and 5 Nm on DD +, do you notice the difference in details? Is the DD + more fun? When I switched from the TGT-II to the DD Pro I was very disappointed, because the TGT-II offered much more details, and it was more fun 🤷🏼

@cicoventura a higher torque dd motor will always be better, even when set to lower torque, your dd pro will still clip, and loose torque, it will also not be able to hold its full torque for long. The dd+ is amazing for me, impressive detail from having the extra power behind the motor, and it can hold 15nm all day.👍

So how is the dd+ on ps5 compared to the dd pro? Still get more out of it? Hoepfully as i just ordered one lol. Im going to say right now the new gt bundle for the dd+ with the new wheel rim seems to hsve much more issues with ffb then the f1 rim or oldwrr rims. Im very happy I didnt buy the extreme bundle now.

I never tested a wheel on ps5 before the dd+. But Should be a very substantial upgrade.👍

Thanks for recommending! Can you explain a little bit, why I saw other recommendations from different people and most of them is telling to set sensitivity on the fame lower? Obviously you chose to be at 10? I’m a little bit confused.

There isn't much difference. The whole difference is in power. By the way, the DD settings are very, very strange. 70% steering weight for what? With 70% the speed of response of the steering wheel is lost, a huge amount of information is lost. Optimal settings 100% 10-25% 6% 6%

You'll get more out of a dd+ if you using it for more than just gt7. Direct Drive wheels work best with other sims for pc. I wouldn't get a dd+ if your only using it for gt7. Although fanatecs full force could be amazing when it comes to gt7.

Are these settings for Gran Turismo 1.43 or 1.42? I've seen people report that 1.43 made force feedback different/worse, compared to 1.42.

I tested the settings on the day the video came out, so probably the latest update. And the latest update I downloaded on Saturday.

Hey do you have to do something specific to have the speedometer on the wheel screen? Like an update or something? I just got this bundle and the wheel works fine and even the rpm meter just under the screen lights up fine but the actual display doesn’t show any real data. I see the captions but this information has been so difficult to just get a straight answer

If you install fanalab, you can edit all the lights and display on your wheel.👍

Loved this settings… Just one thing. Does anybody know why, (only in this specific settings) when the car is standing still, no movement at all, and when I’m not holding the wheel, it kind of shakes from side to side. Very very slightly, barely noticeable, but I don’t want it to do that lol

You can turn down the ffb gain, or turn up fanatec damping to see if it helps. But the more you turn down ffb, or increase damping, you loos a little detail.

Isn't the DD+ supposed to be smoother than the CSL DD/DD Pro ? According to Will at Boosted Media its the natural damper filter causing graininess in the DD+ and Clubsport DD, he recommend 20% or less do deal with it. Cheers

Yes there is, on the main map page, go to options in top left, go to controller option, and you can calibrate them there.

Pretty much the same, depending on the car, I turn down the main ffb power in game down a bit.
