These are very very premium $$$$ products that their target audience is the big buck customers that have the budget to go all out on the simulation... plus I'm sorry but there are morons that have spent over 5000$ just to play iRacing... if you can spend 5000$ on a video game, then you better spend 2000$ on a wheel cause at least the wheel is worth the money unlike the stupid video game that scams you... At the same time I have the super cheap 200$ infamous McLaren wheel of Fanatec and it's absolutely amazing... sure it's from solid plastic and it doesn't look as sexy but the thing is THE most value for money wheel in the whole f****ing world by a mile...

@@RelaxSimmer Fanatec eco system is the most customer friendly though... no idea why you would go to another company... Fanatec is the only one that gives you insane amount of customizability of your rig and your products... and I've tried Moza at a high end sim rig at a place here in my country where you can test high end equipment before you buy them and think Fanatec's FFB is way smoother and way more polished... Moza is rough and strong but Fanatec's is more detailed in my opinion. Sure I've had issues with Fanatec when they were in huge turmoil... my Shifter had broken on sequential and needed fixing and they took forever to reply and take it away to fix it but people need to understand they were in big turmoil and at the same time Fanatec has more customers than all the other brands of the market COMBINED. Now with Corsair money behind them they're gonna dominate the shit out of the market cause they already have the best quality/marketability/product range to begin with.

I wouldn't say the craziness over the last 2 months. I would say the craziness over the last 365 days! It was exactly 1 years ago that Fanatec stock fell thru the floor and the company was hit by the German Regulators for lying on their financial reports! I remember cause I made the post on Facebook that exploded 😂. Over the next couple months every Content creator made video after video regarding Fanatec and thousands of people said they were done for good! I know I had doubts due to the sheer amount of money such a small company was in debt. Hopefully the new Corporate structure will do a better job. Im definitely looking fwd to the Bentley wheel personally. I still feel the primary concern is customer service! Having taken apart most of my Fanatec Equipment, including Fixing my DD1. I was surprised at how easy and simple it is to swap out bad components! A small crew could easily handle dozens of repairs a day. Which is why I can't understand how it was taking months and months for repairs to take place! Had it not been for a eBay seller having the component I needed, I would have left Fanatec long ago

Hell, just making the current Sq 2.5 shifters where they don't miss shifts would be nice! I emailed them weeks ago about it..I actually forgot until I saw this, and still nothing. They've known the missed shifts are a problem and they still don't address it. But hey, they have a new load cell hand brake. !!!!!!

The takeover from Corsair was not a clean action. Seems like Corsair plant it two years ago...and than suddently shady business happened since than. Seems like the Fanatec board was realy eager to ruin the company, only to sell semselves as cheap as possible to Corsair (and also rob the shareholders from all their belongings). I hope the case will be properly clarified...But I´m also sure no influencer media will report on this topic to much, becaus of fear Corsair could "punish" theire misbehavior.

Ironically, there is an absolute truckload of people that have been waiting for problems tickets to be addressed and resolved. It boggles the mind that Fanatec can bring all these goodies and updates at this point, yet have utterly failed so many of their current customers with any kind of support. I have the entire ecosystem and can't use it because of an issue with the PSU. 6 weeks since I submitted a ticket and aside from an email confirmation they received it, NOTHING! Fanatec stuff aside, love the channel, love the track guides, they have def helped me improve my overall skills in sim racing so thank you for all of those 👍

Different parts of the company unfortunately. In case the company I work for gets swamped with issues with RMA for example I could probably not do much even if I wanted....even if I do basically last line of support when it reaches that far. They would need to train me from scratch to handle customers....then its better to hire someone specifically for that who is better at it than me. But frustrating anyway to have support and delivery struggle that much

Yeah I own Accuforce and Simucube wheel bases and haven't had any interest in fanatec after the V1.5 handbrake was an absolute piece of trash (I do like their shifter and it will remain on my rig but that hand brake was a pile) But I do run a pair of stream decks on my rig (an XL on the left and a + on the right) they run everything on my rig... one button to open iRacing and all of the other software I want to open with iRacing is amazing... the ability to have 4 separate knobs so I can have system volume, music volume, chrome volume (youtube) and what ever software I have focused on the fourth is amazing... want to switch to headphones just tap a button etc etc, the Xl mostly runs games macros and for iRacing handles all the pitstop stuff and what not... Man if they started integrating stream deck into racing stuff???? might make me look at fanatec again

Cockpit is interesting only others who have F1 / GT seating position are - NGL F-GT Elite 1100 with seat€ - Track Racer TRX 1400 with seat€ NGL is proper aluminium 8020 and looks good. Track Racer looks awesome. This looks ok, so if it’s at least priced well then it will be a good competition.

I remember seeing the demo of that cockpit months ago. The wheelbase mount has a slider on it with a long throw. You can see the position markings in the video around 2.20. Matched with the seat slider and so long as the seat has some vertical adjustability you should be fine.

It’s large in overall size, but adjustability seems very strong so it should be great for a big range of heights. Worth checking with Fanatec directly, but I’m sure you would be absolutely fine!
