Forza for me.i have both and series x,ps5 slim.gt7 is good yer but just too in depth and hard if ur not a car guy.forza looks great,easy to get into and the career mode being updated all the time wins this race imo.

I also have both games: GT7 on PS5 fat and FMS on Xbox Series X! The gameplay and graphics are far superior to GT7. At launch, the FMS graphics were very bad, but today in October 2024, after some updates, the graphics are excellent! But the GT7 stands out with its very inviting menus and evolution system! If possible, it would be good to play both and make your own comparisons!

FM Ai has come a long way. I remember watching one of these videos at the beginning of the year and seeing how bad the AI drove. But now there's a level of realism, carefulness and some professionalism all in one package with these AI now. I have been enjoying some great freeplay battles with different divisions and weather scenarios now. The remainder of this year's updates should really hone in on making FM even better. We just need a lot more cars from previous games now.

GT7 drives a lot more cleanly, but forza grants exactment and mild contact (which add more marvel to a intense race). so i say to each their own. but im taking GT7: rather be taught a gentlemen on the track. Adredline junkie are for sim-cades/arcades.

Forza AI definitely needs work. They seem like they aren't aware of you, and this makes it difficult to go for openings. I find myself hesitating sometimes out of fear of being pit maneuvered or rammed. Also, if you spin out on track prepare to be rammed by the slow to respond (if they respond at all) A.I. I enjoy playing both games, but after putting in around 40hrs in Forza that has been the largest issue I've noticed. I play on PC by the way.

I checked 3 times I don't watch a video accidentally from Forza that was made when it started/released. Because the same status: Unplayable. AI literally doesn't know what is the follow, chase, overtake lines and rules in Forza. In GT7 it's hard to win, but you have a real "I did it" feeling when you do.

Im no expert but I prefer the way forza simulate the handling, cars are actually reacting to the surface and feels like the cars are going fast instead of GT which looks artificial, seems like there's a video playing on the background and someone used a car sticker on the monitor.

@M-hq9xz Spoken like a true person that admitted to me he/she never played the game. Physics are amazing, especially with a proper wheel. You controller players love saying incorrect things. Cars slip in GT7 and lose control very often. Also, the ai is aggressive. Every race is do in GT7, the ai will also lose control and go off the track. Ai doesn't only race a line. Haters make things up so much, it is ridiculous. Everything you can feel on a proper wheel in FM, you can feel in GT7 as well. Just stop lying. You are aware that the forza A.I. actually drives more like real racers. Sure, it may be over exaggerated, but real drivers aren't perfect driving machines. They go off track, they crash they don't all drive In a single file line. Gt ai is too safe, motorsport ai is too violent.

Some things I notice when I see these comparisons: I think Forza Motorsport's external camera is better and gives a better sense of speed, I also like the crash sounds and the sound of the curbs in Forza, and I also think the map seems to have more detail in external environments, but Forza still looks very dull, while Gran Turismo has nicer lights on the cars and seems to have more detail on the cars, as well as more detail in the pit and rules, where I also like the country flags on the drivers' names, even though I prefer Forza's menu.

Hate to break it to you little man but both are simcade, both will be buried by assetto corsa evo. If gt7 was a sim, which it is not, they wouldn’t have overhauled their entire physics system. I have car collectors level of 50 so I have I completed single player mode and have a 90% top 5 finishing rate on online. Want more proof that gt7 is no more sim then forza. Play Fuji track, the second to last corner is a negative camber corner on an incline, real life and proper sims like Le man ultimate, as does in real life, the car over steers.. gt7 it’s like it’s what is negative camber… overall gt7 is superior, but don’t kid your self into thinking it’s a sim

Gran Truismo 7 and the nations Cup sim racing is why more racers go from Gran Turismo 7 to real racing. It's far more accurate, much higher fidelity and realistic. iRacing is used to get lots of folks who think someday they'll make it big in esports to fund all the championships top 30 players by buying all the cars and tracks and hundreds of dollars in yearly subscription fees. Every IRL racer has to "fix" iracing that have experience with the actual cars. And most clowns have zero idea what even makes a sim a sim. Do any of them model the changes of unsprung components as weight changes, or as debris gets caught in rims, or even fuel slosh. ech of the "models" in the sims are often major guessing maps based on basic fundemental physics. Gran Turismo 7 has actual real world data with tire manufacturers and Michelin the leading top tire tire manufacturer as a partner with the most accurate tire model mappings. Terrible net code is not what defines a sim Terrible collision detection is not what defines a sim Terrible collision response is not what defines a sim Terrible 1990s load times is not what defines a sim Terrrible hyper gameified tire temp models is not what defines a sim Gran Turismo is excellent and the highest fidelity going with out any of the suffering and delusion. Nations Cup Races are the top tier sim racing Yet still no game has even remotely come close to actual racing. Real Racing requires rules and proper punishment and penalties for those at fault. Penalizing all who come in contact is nonsense, just as much as when someone PITTs someone they are just "penalized" as someone who's race is ruined. No fair rules that are just and proper and it's just a comical smashem up with zero actual accountability, just a facade.

Amazing!! Forza AI is very funny it makes me laugh I guess that’s part of the game experience. GT7 AI si more stable but not very realistic. Graphically I give the edge to Forza due to better lighting and details (highlights in GT 7 are muted not reaching good HDR quality) but I like the vehicle colors in GT7 more. I find GT7 cars easier to control more arcade like (good for some and bad for others depending on your preferences). Both games are amazing each one brings good and not so good stuff

The game you’re defending has a rewind feature, which is definitely not Sim simply going on from what I can see Forza feels like you’re flying on ice. @@oi118your analysis is spot and lacks the fangirl emotions one comes to expect. Forza has more details in the environments overall while the way lighting interact with the vehicles is far superior in gt. The sense of speed and the way the cars animate in the environment is definitely more intense in Forza but gt has a much better replay and photo mode. Both games are fine products
