So my latest video seems to have stirred up a debate between turbo & N/A cars at Sardegna, Hopefully this video gives an insight into why for me personally Turbo is the way to go for that event & why the CLK-LM featured was running a medium turbo with even more power reduction over the N/A

NA all the way for me. This car is brilliant and makes the spa grind a breeze. Sounds amazing too. I'm also a mercedes fan, and own mercs between my wife's car and mine. I highly recommend this car for anyone that seriously enjoys this game.

Thanks for the build. Tried the turbo first because most other builds I like are turbo'd and I figured I would like it, but I didn't think I would like driving it as much as the 787b. You're the man

I think the turbo build was surprising the better choice. I think we would naturally lean towards the NA but that turbo helps so much. Great job explaining it! 🔥

I tried both builds. High 1:35 for NA and low 1:35 for Turbo. I've watched your laps and I can see you are downshifting to 1 very briefly, I'll try that to see if it saves time, I just keep it in 2nd. I prefer the Turbo. For me it turns in easier and is more predictable. The NA requires more precision but does feel smoother / more free flowing when you hook it up.

I run a nice steady 1:40-1:42, mostly because it's a grind and not something I'm really paying attention to. Ever since the fall of Tokyo, this has been my easy money maker.

Tried the turbo and times nearly identical when you factor in fuel burn. Overall still a bit faster on the NA for me over the full race, but likely just because I'm more used to it.

One of my favorite cars. Best lap time from in race Sardegna was 1:35.4 (Turbo build) which was my best overall at 800pp until the Suzuki Escudo got 1:34.5 last night, in race.

Lovely video. But the more interessting question to me is with the Turbo build: Power Restrictor or Output Adjustment? Intuitively I always went with the Restrictor first to smooth out the high HP spike, which I suspected to be more influential to the PP calculation compared to decreased lap time. And this was also your approach to the NA build. But your Turbo build restricts output but not the Power Restrictor. Why? And could you test/compare it, maybe even over multiple cars and tracks?

I maintain the normal downforce +10 more points on front in My N/A build just to be more confortable and enjoyable to drive and my lap times are on the low 35. In the end the total time in close to 25 minutes with any build

It is interesting at the NA version at specs both the quarter mile and half mile it is a second faster than the turbocharger version

Without turbo set max output to 92 and still under 800pp changed gear top speed to 300 and it still accelerates very quickly without topping out in 6th gear on long straights.. it's a tiny bit more aggressive but not uncontrollable.

The turbo build is significantly better through corners. This build would probably work better at spa too 😅

Should be January mate, I'd say mid to end & B-Spec rumours have been around a while but I've heard nothing credible yet

I used to do that, but I now run the Escudo, for a 24 mins Sardegna.
