The idea that Kimi is employed by PD is one of the strangest theories I have heard in a while. Admittedly I heard it from Kireth some time ago in one of his videos... so take that for what you will. If PD needed to test out their penalty system, there are development environments they can test, there would bee zero need for an employee to enter an online ranked lobby and ruin someones race for information. Hes just someone who has gotten pretty good at ruining other peoples races through experimentation and exploitation of the current systems. And as you said, if it ever came out that they were indeed associated with PD, there would be a lot to answer for. Anyways, good video! :)

I think the theory is that Kimi Velocini is actually a bot rather than a real player.

First few times playing I was puzzled at how folk get away with taps. But like any game they learn the exploits. DR classes B downwards the side swipes are rife and the anger levels get higher, with retaliation dealt out galore. But even in class A you’ll see people dish it out if they think someone has wronged them. So the only surprising thing about this Kiki guy is his swerving down the straight to bunch up the pack. A risky choice because as you saw someone could pit-manoeuvre him. Slowing down to deal his havoc- yeh sounds like a tea bagging troller. He must get punted often.

Just happened across your channel as YT suggest. How long has this Kimi guy been at this. Does PD never take any sort of action against players like this? Is there a report system in GT7? I'm kinda new to GT7 just recently, played a little GT sport before. Play on PS5 with controller and really beginning to improve my races, slow but sure. New subscriber now. 👍

Welcome to the channel my friend! He's been doing this since gt sport as far as I'm aware, but currently there is no way of reporting a player to PD. I could be wrong, but I think they removed the feature shortly after the gane was released

@@NotThatQuick I know from previous driving games reporting was being abused, so that's why they possibly removed it from this, but clearly for this type of behaviour there should be some way. I know it's the nature of driving games, as I remember from my Drive Club racing days there were some real pieces of work on the tracks. By the way love how you refer to these drivers as "Sausage" lol 😁👌

to cope with Kimi is so simple. Every Race, ONLY ONE Person needs to get the hit for the Team. Smash him out. Let him be last. if everybody does that, every single Race, he will give up. Probally makes a new Name tho. But i mean its PDs fault. The Penelty System is a Joke. you can intentionally get rammed wide and overtaken with no panelty given but when a honest mistake happens, boom, massive Penalty. PD shouldt look at Forza and realize, that they have to do something. They should bring GT Sport 2 ASAP - Fix the Penelty including only max of Laneswitches (like real racing), Rain and Snow on every Track, and it whould be a hit.

He doesn't, I think he lets it build back back up and then drops it down again, this race was a low b rated lobby after my DR got destroyed

Although you’ve covered a few reasons why it’s unlikely that Kimi is employed by PD, the fact that PD has condoned his “behaving like a sausage “😂 shows all Gran Turismo racer’s that, although he’s not on the payroll, he brings free attention to the brand. He’s a douche bag and has ruined many races… I just thought of something. Does Kimi enter into any of the World Series races? These are PD highlight races and are the big showcase of the brand. If he doesn’t enter, I wonder why? He’s shown he has the ability to set some pretty good laps and drive somewhat clean when it’s required. He’s generally in top ranked races, so if he’s not in the GTWS I wonder why? 🤔

Firstly, I haven't accused PD of anything, in fact this video clearly shows that my opinion is the complete opposite of what you're suggesting.. 2nd, kimi isn't brilliant at all, he ruins races for people that are trying to enjoy the game and not end up being punted off by a moron in a pink car.
