The part that I don't understand is that your SR can be reduced, but those guys have some god-mode. E.g couple weeks back during wet Spa daily race C I had a race where SR for almost everyone in the lobby dropped from S to A/B, myself included. Watching that replay it seemed that we were all just too optimistic about the grip in some corners which caused contacts early in the race. I do not think anyone did any intentional ramming. Still, I believe my SR drop from S -> B was justified (even tho most of the drop was probably due to the fact that I was transformed into ping pong on t1 by someone behind) and I was much more careful in the next races.

I know it's about views, etc, but ultimately if he asks in chat post-race for the video of his bullshit and it's put up, it's like rewarding a child who behaves badly; he will love that you're showing it and keep doing it. I bet his eyes lit up when you pulled out of the pits in front of him.

If someone dive bombs you, that means they know they can't keep pace or they're overly eager to pass. Just let them dive bomb and pass, then stay on their ass and make them cause their own mistake

8 months later and the penalty system is still practically non-existent. The quality of racing has continued to drop drastically and the game has been practically unplayable this week due to emotional morons and the lack of penalties.

Remember when the penalty system was so "touchy" that you'd get one for bump drafting, or you'd get the penalty for being the victim? We all pissed and moaned. And now the dirtiest of drivers can maintain an S rating. Some races you are just trying to stay alive.

Good to see that Gran Turismo hasn’t changed much at all when it comes to this poor sportsmanship! I haven’t played online for several years now for this very reason. Just gotta be a defensive driver in the lower ranked lobbies. But once you get past 35k dr that's where the people with racing iqs are and you can have yourself nice battles. Takes a long way to get there though

What is pretty sad here is that they're all solid A rated drivers. I struggle to get into A myself (depends on the track of the week really), I'm usually B rated and I see better driving standards in those lobbies!

I'm still on C 😩. if I am in front of a few drivers, I keep my hazards on to let people know it's save to overtake me. still get knocked. 😔 when I indicate to get out the way on a straight, players think I'm trying break the slip and then start beefing when we get to a corner, thinking I'm gonna block them. all because they think I tried break the slip. 🤦🏾‍♂️ smh

The racing number on your car during a race is your DR position in that race e.g sticker 12, 16 racers. So long as you then place high than 12 and drive clean you should get +dr points, finish lower you get -dr points. But always try aim to finish above 50% of the racers. Easier said than done I know

Some of you guys with a bit of a following need to start a digital petition to send to PD about sorting this game out... the dirty driving has ruined the game for me, to the point I won't even play it any more.. I hope to the Gran Turismo gods that they introduce a collision system like iRacing in the near future. If you have x amount of collisions you are booted and shadowbanned for a week. Other than watching the GT FIA series GT cannot be taken seriously as a racing game. At this point though it is pointless to show them in videos as it's clear that the they are doing it for recognition. If they were just ignored they probably wouldn't be as bad.
