My race yesterday we had 20 join, 15 got dropped before qualifying and I ended up with a guaranteed top 5(finished 4th), thanks gt7, my manufacturers cup is off to a great start lol

Steve, I just wanted to let you know that after watching enough of your videos and seeing how fun it looks to use, I went ahead and bought a used G923 to try and learn how to drive fast. I haven't figured that part out yet, but I am having an absolute blast with it and hope to only get better. Thanks for all of the great content!

Welcome to the club, I went with a thrustmaster and a wheel base to mount it to, I have since upgraded to a Fanatec DD GT, and had to buy a new wheel base because the cheap one I got couldn’t handle the extra power. This can be a slippery slope lol, I already have my next upgrades planned

@@Kernalpanik I've already started noticing a pretty big improvement in the way I go in and out of corners, even if it's still slow. I need to get a racing seat next so I can at least be comfortable while I learn, but I don't know what to get.

First round yesterday of the Manufacturers Cup was a long one, but hey, started at 8th place, finished at 4th out of 19, DR likely went up, but my sportsmanship rating went down to A. Certainly room for improvement. I signed for Ford because someone recommended it to me, plus I wanted to try out the Ford GT Le Mans GT3 car

Since I started watching your videos 2 years ago I decided to dive head first into the drug that is Sim Racing. Spent the first 2 on a G923 and loved every minute of it; Finally learned how to shift properly last year on it after procrastinating for a year in automatic. I always enjoyed Deep Forest way more with the slower cars. Something like a stock to maybe 350hp Supra, or a Skyline was always when I did my best there, and it just fits better than the faster cars.

Love the content but please address the atrocities Polyphony have committed with this game. We need all the pressure we can put on them to actually fix the issues with the game. The microtransactions combined with the pitiful race rewards and the always online component are horrendous, unacceptable mistakes. We need them to fix this game, they are so close to making the best game in the whole series if they just fix a few key issues.

They are well aware of all the complaints. 1st big update with new content will be crucial to make or break not only this game but the franchise for the foreseeable future. Bigger payouts, longer races, higher racing classes (Gr.1/2/3) and more challenges + content like cars and tracks needed. Let's hope PD don't mess it up.

On the first corner is where you lose the most time. Try to brake in a straight line, it'll help you brake later and get a better exit for the small straight after. Also in that corner in the tunnel, it's better to compromise the entry speed in order for a better exit, but it's not as big as a difference in T1

Super GT, I have a few tips for you to get better drives of the hairpin and so on. To get a better drive off of the hairpin, try to get a later apex and turn in later. To get a better drive into the back straight, brake at the change from rail to wall and turn in quite early. By doing this you can mullet the curb on the end and therefore get a better drive onto the back straight.

Great content as always, Steve! I also experienced the long waiting time before getting on to the track. Starting at the back due to my yeeted qualifying session also didn't help as there were numerous experiences of frame rate drops with the pack of cars tightly knitted together, further messing up my race. Felt like this was one of my worst races after a long time since GT Sport, as well hahaha! Good to see I'm not alone. Lack of free time and practice due to work might have greatly contributed to my awful race that time, it left a bad taste in my mouth after sometime.
