Downforce is over exagerated on these modern LMP1 cars in this game. You can't go flat out through Tertre Rouge and Porsche essesses in real life. Great video though. It shows how beautiful this game is and how nice Le Mans is modeled.
@arkeusalexander90542 жыл бұрын
My man went flat out full 300 kph at Porsche curves. Even at 250 kph in real life it would be a huge gamble. While at the same time the car was struggling to reach 330 kph at mulsanne, which not really accurate when it comes to LMP1's. Gr.1 cars specs are so wrong in Gran Turismo.

If it is the 919 evo tribute, maybe its possible. We may never know. The thing has 1000+ HP, ground effect, active aero, reduced weight, TC, a tyre compound exclusively made for it and so many other crazy features like the suspension etc. I'm waiting for the day a game dev can code it and add it to any sim or sim-cade racing title.

@@arkeusalexander9054 I think he changed the gear ratios plus no kers deploy so that's why it struggles to reach top speed. But yeah, it's still an arcade version of the car. Idk why GT7 calls itself 'The real racing simulator'. That's false marketing to me.

This car isn’t slow, that was how it was in real life. It’s built and tuned more for acceleration and handling vs top speed.
@ZedNinetySix_2 жыл бұрын
Not slow at all. Its made for acceleration and grip, top speed becomes meaningless when acceleration and grip are so high.
@arkeusalexander90542 жыл бұрын
In real life Porsche 962C is like 10 seconds slower than 2017-2020 LMP2 at Le Mans if they run in the same layyout, so their is no point trying to even match it with top golden era LMP1 like Porsche 919 Hybrid, Audi R18 or Toyota TS050 Hybrid. By the way Gran Turismo Gr.1 cars specs are completely messed up compared to real life performances. You should go to iRacing, Assetto Corsa or rFactor if you really want an objective comparaison between Group C and LMP1.
@guardraillover75072 жыл бұрын
@@ZedNinetySix_ Lmao no, it depends on the track, if you go 30kmh for the 60% of the track it is no use to be faster in the corners, your statement would have made sense in a circuit like Tsukuba but here it is just nonsense
