Great work, Thanks for the tutorial. How do you drop a layer below another though? Ie a weathered panel with dust and rust layers, then wanting to drop a number roundel like yours below the weathering? Thanks a lot for any help.

Hey thanks buddy. When you’re in the editor and have the list of decals on the right, you can select the decal (I believe it’s triangle) and then choose replace, move, etc. if you choose move then you can put it in whichever layer you’d like.

Probably! At one point in the video I mention that the body is probably made of fiberglass so wouldn’t actually rust IRL so we’re just going for the effect, but aluminum makes more sense given all the rivets.

Im really enjoying the livery editor at the moment. One thing that annoys me is when i try to add a decal to the rear spoiler blade it also duplicates it on the lower blade (lancer evo 6 is a car that springs to mind as it has a double rear wing blade). Also the side of the spoiler decals get spread across the blade and looks terrible. Is there a way to prevent this?? Its driving me mad as i feel my work is unfinished

The two sliders control that aspect. I'm not in front of the game right now but they control depth and degrees of the decal and they will help you. They are located to the far left of the decal controls, where you can select decal colour etc.

Yep, you can play around with the projection range and depth, although for surfaces that are layered on top of each other they can be very difficult to work with and get right, so the decal doesn’t mirror onto the lower surface. Sometimes if you change the decal to Align with Surface instead of Align with Camera it’ll help.

@andersgarme435 yes you 100% can. I used ShareFactory for all of my channel content for the first 6 months or so. There are a bunch of KZbin tutorials for it but it’s the best way to get content to KZbin without buying an expensive editing computer.
