@@GTJesse would you please do a replica livery of a 2022 NASCAR Cup car with chrome numbers? Such as the 20 DeWalt car of Christopher Taco Bell? If you search for KFB, I want to make those 8’s Special Colors. I don’t know how to build a livery around a number. I’ve never used shapes. Always just a special base coat like Y5 Florescent and then put 10 or so decals on the car. Usually Thrustmaster. I’m changing from the 18 to the 8 or 20 maybe, until I can change cars for Manu & Nations GTWS. I’M A COMPLETE NOOB! 😂 On top of that, I do have color blindness. Finding yellows, whites, blues (that aren’t purple), pure black, are almost impossible for me.

@@TheDabbinDave could you post a link to a livery you want replicated? Will be a lot easier than me trying to guess at it. I wouldn’t mind taking a stab at it but will also need the car you want the livery replicated onto as we don’t really have the cup cars in GT. The only two ways to really get metallic decals in GT are to either 1) create a decal using graphic design software that uses very specific gradient techniques to simulate what a metallic decal would look like, or 2) to use metallic paint as your base and then use really creative stencil decals to work around the “negative” space as they say in the art world. The second method is usually the preferred approach because it’s a pain to try to get gradients to load correctly in GT decal uploader.

Hey Ryzer, thank you for the kind words! I love hearing that people are making progress with their decals and liveries by watching the videos I upload. The great thing with Inkscape is a lot of my videos are focused on getting decals into GT, but Inkscape is a very popular graphic design software so there are a lot more videos out there showing how to take your skills to the next level.

Not sure how you manipolate those standard pieces, I might be missing something. Are u using right stick to change angle degree of pieces? Cause sometimes I find difficult to have pieces to fit the spaces properly the way you do! Very nice work pal, btw.
