Gran Turismo 7 - "The Human Comedy" Lake Maggiore 1h Endurance GOLD / Update 1.4

The Kamikaze A.I. has a tendency to ignore your existence trying to drive "through" you if you arent awake.
I used the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept as he turned out for me as the best compromise between low fuel consumption and performance while driving the most fat fuel mix.
Strat is not to complicated.
- 2 Stops (End of Lap 10 and Lap 20)
Use the middle hard compound race tires and as stated above drive on the fattest fuel mix (power 1), around lap 8 or 9 my front tires started to wear off lose grip, so be aware of understeering. I personally drove on traction control Level 2 as I like a little bit of slip at the corner exit to bring my car in position but also Lv. 3 should work.
Usually around Lap 10 and 20 your tires should be worn and your fuel low so pit.
Make sure just to take as much fuel as needed for another 10 laps (plus 0,3-05) as the fueling up speed is misarably slow and you want to benefit of the lighter car while your middle hard front tires wont make it longer than 10 laps anyway.
Push over the whole race distance. You need laptimes around 1:57-1:58 to beat N. Rubilar who is on a different frequented two stop strategy and the group of One Stop Cars which first doesnt seem like a threat but as the race progresses turn out to be winning contenders.
Cut the S's in the middle of the track hard but not too hard to make sure not to ruin your race with unnecessary track limit penalties.
All in all, once you found your rhythm the challenge shouldnt be too difficult with this strat.
Not that it really matters as these Races have their own preset (high) difficulty but I play on default NORMAL enemy difficulty.

I struggled 4 days with this race. First 4th place, then 3rd, 2nd and finally, without major problems (on a not fully functional pad) I won the gold. I did it with a Honda NSX (00) with a 15-second lead. This car is a masterpiece. I won gold this morning.

Nice. I might could have also pushed it more but unnecessary penalties and unclean driving here and there lead into this result. Also manual transmission gives you usually also a little advantage. I was just lazy. 😁

Fantastic overtake at lap 8 to Yamanaka I struggle a lot with Rubilar until lap 12 we both entered to pits He exited first but I overtaken him because of the traffic I won for 4 seconds

Thank you and congratulations. 🙏🏼 Yes. Rubilar seems to be scripted as the main opponent for everyone, driving the fastest two-stop strategy of the AI Driver. I heard and read that many people push him even off the track in the corner I overtook Yamanaka. Also I read that some people struggled to beat the One-Stop Strategy Opponents. Apparently the game has a few different scripted scenerios how the opponents perform.

LooooL....I just knocked out Rubilar ,in the second corner...he end up p20...some 36 seconds from p1 ...he committed 30 laps of <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="118">1:58</a>...<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="909">15:9</a>...<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="120">2:00</a>..and some <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="122">2:02</a>..two pit stops...there was the ultimate steal...Spending not even half of time there....he end up second!!!!..one sec before p1.... Mind you I ve beat him several times...my record is pretty...but today's steal is fenomenal..!!!hahahahhhh..I end up p 4..with Mr Wong on my ass for ten laps!!!!..he usually is one lap behind me...but today he went nuts!!!! My laps were <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="118">1:58</a>,<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="119">1:59</a> all of them!!!!!!!!!

Hahaha. Yea. Thats also an effective Method. 😁 I heard many different strats, also about people pushing out Rubilar in the 180° Corner into the sand but for me it worked fine just to find my rhythm and drive 1:57-1:58 average laps. I am surely not a pro but I could comfortably solve the challenge this way (more than once).

That surprises me. Usually you should be at least on par with the opponents on the same two stop strategy like you (N. Rubilar, Fraga etc.) while driving 1:57-1:58 min laptimes. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I am sorry if the Video couldnt help you. I keep my fingers crossed that you will be able to beat the challenge. 🤞🏼

Which difficulty level?

I usually change between "normal and difficult" but it doesnt affect these challenges as they have their own preset difficulty. I think difficulty was on normal when I started this challenge tho.

Your ai seems slow. My ai does crazy lap times of 1.52 and sht. I need to drive almost perfectly to barely keep up. Even tho I'm not a good driver and I play on controller but still. This mission is stuff of nightmares lol. This and s10 licence😂😂😂
