Except that its almost EXACTLY 700 miles from Southampton to the northern region of Portugal, as the crow flies. (As measured on google maps, using what essentially would be the great circle route) So I think @SuperGT just introduced you to a new friend.. Barry R.

Brands Hatch reminds me of Limerock. They look easy at first glance but they're actually pretty tricky to nail laps repeatedly on.

@@toddthezondalover645 I suck for names but that first right hander over the hill after the start/finish is a make or break turn for me. Playing on controller it's pretty hard to get a soft and smooth weight transition during braking. I've had quite a few tank slappers coming out of that thing.

@@michaelallen2501 That's the one I mean. I'm a controller veteran, been playing on a pad since I was 4 (now 23) and I'm still very inconsistent there. Very hard to judge the apex, and I usually drop my left wheels in the sand trap and hit the wall.

I’ve learned so many tracks from daily races and wanting to be competitive in them. Where is that sophy AI though 😩 i like offline racing better sometimes but the ai is so slow it’s just not fun at all

Was really good to have some genuine strategy options for this race. Being consistently slow meant I could still do ok using the Megane Trophy on a no-stop - gaining a good 3 places in a strong evening lobby, and up to 7-8 places in weaker mixed lobbies at either end of the day.

Brands hatch is my local circuit as well. Such an incredible circuit, I love the corners, especially paddock hill bend (turn 1) and druids (turn 2). But when you get a perfect lap in, it’s very satisfying and rewarding.

Brands Hatch is definitely my favourite real circuit in GT7 with two good layouts that suit many types of car. Group 4 on this circuit is so much like BTCC. Last weeks Daily race was excellent and I increased my driver rating by taking some victories. I went with the Suzuki Swift and a no stop strategy on Hards. Good to see you back Super GT, your videos are always entertaining.

As much as you talk about teamwork and bumping to catchup/break-out, you always seem more intent on passing then bumping. I think you can be 0.08-0.30 sec faster if YOU bumped more.

This is one of my favourite combinations. Brands hatch is always fun especially if your not super high level since people make tons of mistakes and theres usually lots of overtaking. Difficult track to nail but for some reason still very fun.

Hey, Steve: Portugal is located in southwest of Europe, not Africa or Asia. From Plymouth to Oporto (portuguese second city, in the north) it's about 1300 miles in a straight line.

Brands Hatch is a really fun circuit to drive. Not a lot of straights, but I still find there's a decent amount of overtaking opportunities considering the layout of the circuit.

you wanted a thought on BH... it's a nice technical track, and I have trouble with it on group 3 cars because of that blind right after the SF straight, and also that middling right into the downhill complex on the backside. all-in-all, I appreciate that the technical skill is about managing grip on throttle.

4:55 Hey steve, just thought i'd let you know on a more recent video that using fuel mode 1 is burning more fuel than 5 would be. I'm a pilot, and we use the term "leaning the mixture" which means using less fuel, and setting 1 is using way more than you should.

Around 700 miles to Portugal? That sounds crazy to me, here in the USA that's about a 9 hour drive, 1 or 2 states over depending on the direction (in some states you can travel farther than that and be in the same state). Almost as much as I drive to go visit my mom. Crazy that you can travel that far and you'll have seen a few different languages. (That's why most Americans don't have passports lol this place is huge)
