I've never been disappointed by any of yer antics because I think you're a good pilot, both at your computer gear and in real life. I can 100% vouch for steve on the wheel freaking out. I have a GT DD pro, and the same Mclaren wheel he's using and had the wheel lock up and was unable to do anything about it. Very strange. Only happened once for me in GT7

I tried a bunch of cars in quali for this race and found the Mustang and AMG as my fastest. I am playing on controller with auto though so will be very different to the top guys. Love your commentary Steve. I listen to YT while I work and even without watching your videos are enjoyable. I do flick back for a quick view when certain things happen though.

Hi Steve im having the same problem with the same setup. DD1 Podium V3 pedals PS5 etc. The only thing is Fanatec is not acknowledging the problem. The first thing they say is its maybe a ground problem or something on your side but that isn’t the case. Its a very anoying problem and you won’t expect it from a high quality product like the DD1. I hope Fanatec see this video and will do something.

i was surprised how clean it was for u to take a move at 1:28 , when i do something like that, the other guy tends to ram into my car and rammed me off track on the very next turn... fyi, i m in rank B in Asia region, most of my opponents r from Japan and Australia ... anyway, sometimes when they take a move on me like that with slight contacts, my SR rating went down for some reason too 😅

I finally got to the point of competing up front in Sport mode. In this race yesterday I got a few podiums and within a half second of my first win, then the next race it bumped up my driver skill level and now I'm at the back of the pack again :(

make sure your on the power before the apex out of T1, T2 (or 3 after the kink?) turn in later and harder so the car is much straighter when you get on the power

Ive had a similar bug recently with my Logitech wheel. Both the accelerator stuck floored and the wheel stuck at full turn. Fastest way to fix has been to disconnect and reconnect wheel.

Happened to me with the pedals not correctly inputting the throttle, but yours was way worse! P.S. Maybe your wheel sensed you're using a Mustang so it went into yeet cars and coffee mode during that first Scott Chegg attempt so there's that LOL
