Totally binned it over the chicane in that first race 😂 The matchmaking was definitely having a laugh that night too. I was trying to get into DR A and ended up with a load of A and A+ drivers!

Only recently decided to try & get into Sport with this race this week & while it has been fun it's also so frustrating the combo of dirty drivers/bad penalty system in GT7 in general. I got 7 seconds of penalties for hitting a badly rejoining driver who didn't ghost at all, despite being fully in the gravel & almost stationary & then getting brake-checked & shunted off by a different dirty driver who received no punishment whatsoever apart from getting the odd 0.5 second penalty for cutting the chicane a few times. 😡 The ghosting in particular is so inconsistent at the moment & quite unnecessary.

It’s pretty damn cutthroat, that’s for sure. If I may, the key to getting the hell out of those toxic lobbies are to get a string of decent races in. Don’t worry about track position, just focus on trying to hit your marks and not getting any penalties. You’ll gain position as people quit, wreck, do the usual GT stuff, etc. Easier said than done, yeah, but patience *seriously* pays off and I think you’d enjoy it!

It's funny you say the traction is a weakness because everything I've heard about the 2020 Merc GT3 Evo from ACC is that it has OP traction control compared to other cars. Of course GT3 cars are built to be used with TC and ABS and I know those things are frowned upon in GT and you're better off not using them. Doing that in ACC though is a good way to make repeated meetings with Barry R.

I'm curious about something, having never played Gran Turismo. Why does this game allow so much curve cutting and track limits infringement in general, but then at other times it's very strict? It allows you to hop that curb through the chicane every time, even let you bowl over the bollard, but no penalty? Over here in Forza-land the white line is almost always the track limit, and it's insanely touchy. I'm just wondering how the folks at GT decided which track limit to enforce and which not to? Any ideas?

Hey Steve, I've been watching and following your channel for about two years now and I always love the content. I know this is off content but I need some advice. I have been debating what my next upgrade should be. I can get a new wheel or a new rig with a seat. I have been driving with a G29 for years now and I am thinking of upgrading to a T300RS GT or CSL DD. My rig is an office chair, two tray tables and a fixed wheel stand. In your opinion which would be the upgrade you would go for; a new wheel or a better rig?

The Ferrari Gr. 3 car is by far my favorite Gr. 3 car in the game. It does everything very well! Not excellent in anyway but still very good in every way which makes it easy and fast!

Bought the game 2 days ago and I'm already done will be trading it in while it still has value. When it comes to racing I'd much rather play Forza atleast then I'm not constantly being ripped off. Polyphony digital are bottom of the barrel for me.

Hello, just to tell you that i saw a video of gt7 with an extra app that show the tires temp and it take 2-3 laps of driving before getting the tires on good temp, so for olympic or any time trial don't alway retry your lap because you start with low temp all the time. just keep going for 3 laps before expecting a very good one. cheer !!!
