I think we need better car selection. Don’t get me wrong I think they did very well with the cars they’ve added but some seem like they were just added because they suddenly remembered that car existed. I want more cars such as the garage 56 Camaro, and actual formula one car / Indy car, Lexus isf, even some popular economy cars such as a Camry, and they especially need to add more SUV’s like the Aston Martin dbx or the Cadillac Escalade.

As someone who bough gt1 on launch. What gran turismo 8 really needs is the end of the pp system and penalties. The worst 2 things brought to the game. I dont use the third person view but that should be left alone as it always been that. Does not need anymore customization. Just bringing back the racing conversion and that's it. Keep drag racing out of gran tursimo is the best move. Bring back all the original tracks and shelve alot of the real world tracks would be great as well.

Hear me out: What if one fo the next Gran Turismo games is openworld like forza horizon, but the map is made of all the original GT tracks like eiger nordwand, midfield, deep forest etc. Connected together using paved and unpaved public roads? honestly i’ve always preferred the “stiffness” of gt’s 3rd person camera. it feels easier to make precise movements and steering input feels way more stable and locked in. the loose camera style of games like nfs always threw me off and felt sloppy

In my opinion, if GT is to make a technological breakthrough, they would have to introduce a realistic system of mechanical damage (which is interesting. 1 part. Motorsport forums had such a nice system 20 years ago, and ironically, it is still not good enough and apparently the licenses were too expensive)

Love all your suggestions, especially exhaust sounds. So crap at the moment. More customisation definitely. But most of all, a lot more cars. More manufacturers and more models. Road cars like the Audi quattro, mini 1275gt, ford escorts mk 1,2,3,4. Capri and cortina. Hillman, Vauxhall, Opel, lotus, rover/ layland, nobal, konigzeg, tvrs, alpheta, ginetta, Bentley, alpha Romeos like the sud, 159 etc etc and normal cars that we all have and drive. Plus cars we all remember from our youth. Forget vgt and concept stuff that doesn't exist and can't be tuned. So boring!Even if they just gave us what was in previous titals 🤷 Also a far bigger career mode for those of us who don't race online in sport mode etc. Lots more tracks needed and way more events per track. Qualifying for all races. Tyre brands, multiple engine changes per vehicle, like in the real world. The list is endless as I think gt7 isn't even half a game for the money it cost new. I've always loved grandturismo but I'm pretty disappointed with 7 to be honest. I've got a feeling that games are getting worse not better these days 🤦 look at ssx tricky or FIFA. The graffics may have improved but they are all getting smaller and less fun in my humble opinion 🕊️🦋

I have a big complaint with the cockpit view and is that lacks the option of a (fixed) dashboard view. People who use wheels usually don't like to see 2 wheels! The option to turn off the in-game wheel, fix the view and more angles of adjustment also works. It truly adds to the immersion. Not everyone has VR and VR itself isn't that practical.

They litterally had new york and las vegas in older gran turismo games also monte carlo and other tracks in big cities. Having a track in a big city i don't think is street racing, the new york track they had was litterally in the streets of new york but it wasn't a street race, it was a proper designed track with pit stops as well, and also we had tracks situated in city streets also in gt6 so not that long ago. Btw if gran turismo was only about professional racing i don't think they would even have street cars in the game, if it really was a professional racing, racing game then they would've been more like assetto corsa where they only have i think gr.3 cars.

They shoukd get someone from Ivory Tower or RaceRoom to do the sounds. Polyphony likes it clean and perfect so something as raw and brutal as RaceRoom probably won't be happening however something as consistent as Motorfest's car sound quality might. Either way both of them have very nice sound processsing from Motorfest's highly exaggerated shifting sounds to RaceRoom's spatial audio.

1. The thing i hate about ALL RACING GAMES is the discrepancy between Current RPM, and the actual Engine RPM. And Forza is really bad for it. When youre driving and barely cruising but the RPM gauge shows 5000 RPM, or youve got the car wound out so bad it sounds like its gonna come apart, but the RPM gauge shows 6000 RPMs. 2. Id like to have an ACTUAL Auto Trans in the game. When youre cruising, you should go to its highest gear. Then when you begin accelerate, it drop down a gear or 2 or 3. Then if youre cruising, have full throttle cause real kickdown. I get tired of cruising and the RPMS be held at 5000 because im doing 110 in 3rd gear and it wont shift up unless you go all the way up the RPM range until it shifts. I want gear selection to be dependent on Throttle Position like a real Transmission. 3. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD i want Drive Side Conversions. I love the NSX but i cant stand right hand drive. Make a conversion available.

GT games are great, been playing since GT1 on the old PS1. Every game evolves and gives us more and more. The ONLY thing that a GT game needs to improve since game 1 is the accidents damage. PS5 (or 6 lol) are more than capable of having realistic and perhaps ai generated accidents, with real time damage, that would be different from crash to crash, depending where the vehicle collides, what door, mirror, window hits the wall, and also variant accident damage. Not only visually, but accidents affecting the performance of the cars. Everything else detailed in this video? Would be great yes, but not as vital as having a GT game finally having a realistic real time accident engine.

I completely understand and appreciate your enthusiasm and desire for the upcoming features in the game. However, it appears that GT is currently placing a greater emphasis on enhancing the racing aspect itself, rather than incorporating the various features that players enjoy in FH5. Their primary goal seems to be the creation of a highly immersive and advanced racing simulator that can compete at a serious level in the racing genre. While it would certainly be nice to see a few additional features implemented that could enhance the overall experience, I have my doubts that they will make those a top priority in their development process. Their current focus suggests a strong commitment to the racing simulation aspect above all else.
