Its Gran Turismo: Lunge edition. Any time anyone is even up to 0.5 behind me I assume they'll go for a lunge, and then they're surprised when we both get sent to the Shadow Realm because they tried to lunge from half a second back going into the death chicane.

That's because good close racing, especially in this game, is intense. From hundreds of hours playing it or watching it I can fully vouch for that. Maybe consider joining in? Put it this way, GT sport is the only reason I pay for ps plus access.

Me too!!! I’ve been playing GT for years but didn’t own a PS4 until my son gave me his. Been at GT Sport now for three weeks. Just when you think you’re fast you’re actually six seconds slower than the next guy. Practice, practice.

I've noticed in the last bunch of videos, it seems like you give your opponents too much respect. Most of the penalties you get are from rear-ending people who are slower than you while patiently following them. It'd be cool to see a video where you decide to get really aggressive and compare the results to you're normal, conservative style.

The f- type I found was really fun to drive, it’s straight line speed is just insane so even with the slip stream it’s hard for them to get beside you and if they do you just get them to go deep into the corner then do a cut back and then pass them on the straight again, also with the mix of the speed and the gearing, at the start your like guaranteed an overtake

Alsace is a bizarre track,,i think PD wanted a track that the driver couldn't rest on any sector,no big straights,always thinking about the next corner and in the case of group c you need to constantly shift up and down

Alex Albon, a Thai-British F1 driver turned to Sim Racing after Mexican F1 driver Sergio Perez from Racing Point F1 Team replaced him on Friday, December 18. Speculation of Albon's Red Bull career being in danger started at the beginning of the Formula 1 season. Where multiple driver changes offered Red Bull multiple driver choices. Underperforming and being consistently beaten by his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen, cemented Red Bull's decision of replacing him. And demoting him to test driver Alex Albon now races under the British flag in the sim racing game Grand Turismo Sport. He now competes against amateur drivers playing the game at their homes. He is still underperforming and is being beaten by amateur drivers only winning by luck and not merit. Even though he shows glimpses of his talent he is still losing to 12yr olds and complains of them "Racing Him Too HARD".

Even though i've just started watching your videos... damn this game would frustrate me so much with the bump penalties, they just seem to pick a random number... .5 1 2 - and shit like car in front fish tails and loses it heading for barry-r yet you clip them on the racing line, pretty much save them from 100% death (they just get maimed instead but survive on life support) yet you receive a 2-6 second penalty. Can I ask... genuinely, how many times have you rage quit this game? lol how many race starts vs rage quits.. I'd love to see that stat (on all games lol)

Hi, im a B, A/S racer, one thing I cannot get around is brake bias? would you change the brake bias on the gr1 cars? also, on the g4 cars, I tend to avoid the FF cars and go the viper or something, (usually go 2 to to rear BB, is this right?) Loving the vids btw :)

Nothing sums up the problems with GT Sport's penalties and SR system quite like this race. I've done several races at Dragon Trail this week where a proper 75k DR top split driver has started from the back and stayed there, not even trying to race or go past anyone purely to try and build their SR back up. I've had SR downs for contact in braking zones that barely made a sound or a bump when I hit them. It's ridiculous on its own, but it's especially tragic when the game's best have to coast around doing nothing to be able to race at the level they should be at.

The Viper is a MONSTER of a car. It seems to be the perfect balance of power, handling and speed. Put a good driver in the seat of a Viper, and you're looking at a top 5 finish, no matter what the position.

hey I know no one still plays first assetto corsa on ps4 and with a controller but after my transition from gt5, PC1 and 2 I just cant get the hang of AC driving mechanics, it feels like I´m sliding all over the place and I´ve tried taking it easy warm up the tires and brakes but just as I drive not even to a 90% of what the vehicle is capable it spins out it´s not just fun anymore. so if anybody has the same situation or can give me some tips how to drive better I would be glad

GR.4 Dragon trail up again... and youtube algorithm somehow brings me here Did a few races just now, rage quitted one of them cuz of the stupid penalties and got a race win in the TT for the next race. Can brake really late and do a late apex run really easily and effectively in that car.

PS the Audi understeer... it goes down exponentially if you just unload the diff at 75% throttle or so, compared to 100%. So key to fast lap times and racing in it is to modulate the throttle like that in the turns... never unload it completely and never wind it up with full throttle until you're pointed straight.

Sardegna backwards is worse than the death chicane, I do really well here too even though I hate the track but when you do it in the nostalgia part of single players your on this track in old 60’s car that’s a pain that downhill stop is 10 miles long in the old corvette

Would u ever think about doing a controller compared to Wheel lap time? I use a controller and was able to set a high 1:39 on this track in the Sauber. That Viper has awful lift off understeer i binned it numerous times on that chicane last week.

That's a bit silly though, you get pushed slightly off track and lose positions, no penalty. You give a slight nudge, they lose nothing, penalty.

You should improve connecting corner flow. Think of the corners as three or four in a row. Would help you stop from overcooking it. You should go race a small track kart league
