Hello SuperGT, I just discovered your chain, I'm Rasbib, after having read part of the comments I had to answer as many nasty attacks without knowing myself or having my opinion and felt on the race. First of all I generally and like you liked this race, I start in Nation Cup and I don't often play GTsport. It was epic, shock park against shock park the whole race. In my defense, I left the doors much more open than you, I prefer a race with overtaking rather than closing everything as you did when you were in front. I understand and respect this strategy. When I say that I liked this race overall, it is because the end touch has ruined the show !!!. I am very sorry to have braked a bit too late, with jimmy prost just behind I could not let you iron. So yes I made a mistake which distorts the result, sorry I am not a pro but to read that I did it on purpose, that I use the new penalty rules (I am not even aware) that I am a pilot at banish ... short Anyway, congratulations to you for your channel, our dual race (you should have been first without contact but I was much faster than you towards the end ^^) and your fairplay

Not a problem mate. Not the way I wanted to end the race but I do understand that 3rd place was very close by and it made it harder to resolve it. I'd usually not defend every corner but I felt like my tyres were worse and that it was the only way to win that particular race. Overall, a very good race.

@mralf1_1044 жыл бұрын
@JT Summed it up perfectly. You know what's worse than all of that? I was driving the Nations race at Dragon Trail the other day and I got a 2 second penalty on both races... without even touching anyone and for no actual reason! I checked and double checked the replays to see if there was any reason as to why the penalties were given, but I hadn't done anything wrong! The worst thing was that when I received the penalty, I normally would get a text explaining why I had a penalty, but that time, NOTHING SHOWED UP. They literally gave me a two second penalty, with all that implies in an official races in cars where you get punished badly for time losses, and they didn't even have a reason to give it to me! And people were saying it was improved after the update! This system has not been fixed at all with the update: in fact, the game has gone backwards since that, because the penalty system is just as bad as before for what you mentioned and the servers are now so much laggier and messier.
@mralf1_1044 жыл бұрын
@JT You're also right about the whole wall thing. I don't see any reason why the system should punish the player so heavily when the player makes a mistake. I thought it was for realism purposes (so as to make you lose time equivalent to the damage you would have on the car in real life), but I have also seen them given in races with no damage, so... what's up with that?
@merthyr18314 жыл бұрын
Yup, penalty system is still laughably broken, but at least it not being there is better than it penalising everyone for tiny contact. Though despite that I still did ragequit in the Gr3 Redbull Ring Wet race today because I spent ages practicing, only to get *punted off at the first corner despite going relatively deep, then getting a 2 second penalty for it*. Cmon now, it was honestly close to being alright for a while, then from what I can tell they've ruined it since people have been pulling Momoz maneuvres :(

He was 100% a better driver than SuperGT. Fair win. If early-braking, apex-parking, and slowing everyone down is your main strategy you need to understand you're at the mercy of the other drivers patience with you as a roadblock. Don't expect unlimited mercy in a competitive game. Every slow corner the chance you will be rear-ended increases by 10%. And accept it as a con of the strategy.

That line, doing the grass, it saves on tires I believe. Not much but enough to be noticed by end of race.

Race i enjoyed very much after qualifying in 14th but thanks to me being a real life rally driver i progressed to 6th on lap 1 and finished 5th despite being punted off whilst running in 3rd with 2laps to go.
