I think it really is time for the wheel, I know controller is more comfortable but it's just so much easier to cut corners more accurately and get smoother acceleration curves for better traction and stuff with the wheel. Your controller gameplay is very impressive but still restricting, imo.

Im using a Fanatec, and I do enjoy it so much. I have tried the G29 but the Fanatec is a different world! I think its time for the Wheel, your line and timing with a Wheel would be fun to watch!

I have Thrustmaster 150 RS, but I don't have a place where I can have it all the time so it's a trouble to place it and then remove it all the time. I tried playing on the wheel, I would say 5 hours so far, I'm still on average 3 sec behind my times on controller. So with all the hassle with space where to put it and slower times I kind of gave up on it. It's easier to just pick up controller and have some fun for few races. + T150 RS does not feel realistic because it is hybrid of gear and belt driven, it's not smooth and has weird jerks sometime, when moving the wheel really slowly you can feel the each gear. Would like purely belt driven wheel more.

I had a nightmare at Monza 🤦‍♂️ got bashed around by a few drivers but made up for it in my US account race, 1 stop was defo the better way, I tried no stopping the soft tyres big F for me 😂 not much we could do at that FIA there though as Cayman was down on power. Good video again mate 👍

Get a wheel drive 1st person, rewatch the race on replay once your done, and capture your footage of the race in third person, and you can switch in between the two camera angles in between the race to give us different perspectives! 👍 great content Steve!

Not a huge fan of the new system - I like that it encourages clean racing but given the system's not perfect and it often gives penalties without reason/unfairly, it's too harsh in its current state

Might be tricky at first, but the wheel is definitely going to benefit in the long run. Crack out the wheel and stick with it, you may go slower at first, but it will be worth.

Qualified 3rd on harder tyres in my race, thought I was in for a good one. Got a 2 second penalty at turn 1 for the same reason PRT Snake89 did at 4:05. The guy who chose not to brake at turn 1 and hit 3 cars didn't get a penalty. Christ knows how they work out the penalty algorithm in this game. If you're on the racing line into a corner and someone hits you from behind it's never their fault, always the leading car. The system is a lot better than it has been but how it portions blame is ridiculous at times

Its always time for a wheel. I genuinely don't know why people would avoid it unless they couldn't afford it. When I moved from a cheap wheel with little feedback to a real wheel the difference was night and day. Suddenly I got all the information I was missing, could feel just how close until oversteer and could react before I visually see it, within 24 hours I was holding it on the edge and drifting corners for fun which I would have never dreamed of before. You genuinely get as much information from the wheel's feedback as you do just from looking at the screen. My consistency went from getting about 1.5 seconds variability per lap to under 0.2 seconds variability within a few days. Without a wheel you're not really driving, you might as well be playing super mario for all the good it does. Try it for a week, even if your times are slower you'll see what you were missing out.

I love you, Super GT. I want to see you win. That's why it kills me when you choose under-powered cars and/or fail to defend as much as you should. You have the driving/control skills to take advantage of cars that have a little more power than handling bias. I know such vehicles may be less pleasant to drive than the handling-biased cars, but you'll be faster. I'd love to see you go with those more, and be a little more aggressive in your defense. Again, just want to see you win! Not trying to hate!

We all had nightmares at Monza it seems. I'm with Porsche as well. But it was the penalties, I swear I served like 14 seconds worth of penalties just from other people bumping into me!lol. I started the race in 8th went aggressive on turn 1 and went up into 5th right away......then every chicane after was little bumps here and there, mostly not my fault but some were. And I was struggling to not finish last. I qualified 8th out of 17. Two people quit and I finished 13 out of 15 in the end.....technically 13 out of 17 then. I made up for it in the N300 race. I thought it was going to be must first win. I qualified 3rd, and we had a 3 way battle for 1,2,3 the whole race. Pole position got 5 secs ahead so he pit.....I was in 2nd, so me and #3 stayed in it without pitting. Pole came back out in 5th and came roaring back in first place in front of me and #3. pole up front with me and #3 door to door AND I FUCKING PUNT #1 on turn 1 hairpin on final lap....lol....so I threw the hazards on and let him take #2 and #3 ran away at the end with the win because I couldn't be that brutal.lol. I did not even get a penalty for it to be honest. I saved the replay, if any enthusiasts wanna see it. It was glorious. Love you guys.....
