Awesome product but as I work in the marine industry I know that heat shrink doesnt in fact make a water tight seal but can cause more damage by trapping water inside. I would suggest useing self amalgamating tape, this will give you a perfect seal protecting the connection from the elements.

We are not looking for water tight - just not to be pulled apart under tension

Marine heat shrink actually would make it watertight... It's basically lined inside with hot glue so that it becomes a solid encapsulation.

The system does not require an extra relay. There is no reason to block off the muffler - it always takes the path of least resistance

So let’s talk about finding a spot for this set up. The motor looks small but everything together is really big and you gonna need a lot of space. First check under your car for space and plan out everything. I literally had to hammer in the floor to fit in this as this mfkin set up is huge and hopefully it doesn’t fail like others as I paid $350+ for this but I’ll update u guys.

That's condensation as we are located 1 mile from the beach. what you see dripping is from the gasket as it takes longer than 10 Seconds for it to take its new shape after being squished.

Seals 👍 great! When our valve shuts, it mates to a landing seal on before sides of the blade. We don't market them as water or air tight but they are as close as you can get

Every car is different. But we recommend wiring it up to a KEY HOT wire so you don't drain the battery as it could put a small drain on the batter over time if you do a direct hook to the battery

All our kits have the instruction how to make 2 brains work off one switch. If you cant find it you can always call in. 805-486-6644 You will need to cut the one switch wires off the back and stripe and connect them to the other switch we give you the clips to crimp the wires to the switch. Or You can always upgrade to the wireless remote all you do is plug in and play Part number 303510R-D

So my question is, when the cutout is activated, it does not block off the muffler section so exaust will be released from the cutout and muffler this has me mind boggled because wouldn't you get way more sound if all of the exaust is being released from cutout alone not throght the intersection of both?

Yes, Not 100% of the exhaust will come out of the cutouts but like anything in life it will always try to take the easy way out of your pipe

you know, with x amount of fabrication. .. buy 2 of those and get the valve junk from the second one welded in the straight section behind that y so it'd make a block plate when closed. the exhaust would all go out the open end. murphys law to that is .. if you have both of the closed at the same time something not good is bound to happen

There is another video that shows you can install the standard switch instead of this full open/close auto shut-off switch (smart box). It makes their system like all the other systems that you have to manually control the open/close by holding the switch in the correct position. I would think if you want the best of both worlds, install the switches in parallel so that you can bypass either one when you choose to do so. We offer that option but as shipped its OPEN or closed. You will find that opening half way sounds the same as wide open - its just better for the valve to be opened or closed all the way

Every car and truck is different. that is why we didn't show that part. Our kit is simple to wire up. You can always connect straight to the battery or wire it to key hot under the steering wheel

Dear joe I'm sorry to be bothering you like this but I've gone through every channel possible all American Muscle LMR late model restoration I talked to almost everybody you can imagine and when you first speak to someone that get you all excited that they may be willing or may be able to help I've tried to Make A Wish Foundation what they say that my brothers too old my brother is 49 and it's been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that makes his blood mutate and causes him a lot of health problems he's been a Mustang on almost to the whole life in his last wishes that he owns one more one last time so the church got together and got him a 2004 Mustang GT all they could do we go to a relatively small Church we wanted to do a coyote swap and give it just a little muscle nothing major maybe a 2012 coyote gen 3 with an automatic transmission in a air ride for adjustable suspension he's having a lot of trouble getting in and out of cars now and I'm afraid wrong timeline that's not going to be doable when we first started this project two years ago everyone Farris hope and he had so much out of but now I didn't disbelieve and we don't know who else to talk to or who else to turn to for help it's just one man's dream the only one of the best cars ever made a Mustang candy apple red what's a nice sound in motor stage 2 cams when do someone's come out with a supercharger that you'll actually tune I think it's Paxton and it has three different setups which mic should I do for someone we just want to enjoy that ride they won't see attract or strip he just wants to go to car shows because the owner of the Mustang one last time if there's any way you could help us or anyone you know that could help us we would greatly appreciate it we're out of options at this time we know Turn 5 is a big player in American Muscle and we really had hopes for them but was that they came back with was it was just not a project that they would be interested in what's killed his spirit and I think he's giving up but I'm not willing to if you can help us in any way please do you can contact me at 334-2221 2964 that's my cell phone or my email [e-mail]....please help us

I just installed this one yesterday on my 19 ram classic 1500 hemi and at idle it sounds like a POS car with no muffle kinda like a boat!!! It only sounds good when ur going fast .. I’m really pissed off .. do not recommend at all..
