Unfortunately, I know this game better than Tales Of Arise because Granblue fantast relink game was announced much earlier in 2017, so I didn't feel like Tales of Arise at all from the start.

Wha! Haven't heard anyone talk about that game in such a long time! Game was beyond its time: day/night cycle, npc schedules, special character recruitment, equipment visuals. Love that game!

@glezard212 GranblueFantasy Relink release February 1, 2024 at $60 while Dragon Dogma 2 release March 22, 2024 $70. You got a month and half apart. GranblueFantasy Relink has a 25 hour singleplayer and 4 player multiplayer

@@faiyez I mean I watched the anime (1 season at the time) and it starts going off the rails skipping all sorts of stuff because it was adapting random stuff from the mobile(?) game. I remember more characters would just be in the crew outta nowhere and realizing "oh, this isn't really meant to be a way to say you've experienced the series."

One JRPG trope that I've never liked, is the shrill voiced animal companion. It bothers me enough that I might have to think about this purchase if it talks too much lol. Maybe it sounds better in Japanese audio??
