@@DouglasStewart99 Vira in the lore actually got fixed somewhat. Nier fights any attempts to fix her by flying into a homicidal rage to kill the person who proposes it. Heck, even if she merely suspects you don't accept her-psycho and all- she,ll turn against you. Nier, lorewise. is a character who can only be managed, never fixed. And yes, she is scary as hell gameplay-wise too.

Vira grows out of her craziness after being in the crew long enough and becomes actually pretty nice as a person. I haven't seen Nier's final chapter but the Nier in VS is just too far gone as it's how we met her.

Not this version. Nier’s biggest problem is that she both has an obsessive need to feel loved and delusionally believes that she’s unloved and unlovable. That is, uh, not something that can be fixed without serious therapy, which she seems absolutely unwilling to receive. (Nier also has a whole host of other problems, but the GBVSR version of her has one more problem that goes beyond all of those, and it’s the one listed above.)
