"Grand" Big Mac, eg, what Big Mac's used to be like in the 90's. They used to fill me up then, but today's Big Mac is so small I'm still hungry. Oh, but McDonalds Australia says the Big Mac is still the same size as it used to be. Yeah right!

That's what I was going to say also. This was the original size of a Big Mac. A mate did a YT video comparing it from old video to current. This made it onto TV. Maccas denied any change of course!

@@ForTheBirbs I think I remember seeing that :) funny too, the Big Mac in the USA is the original size. I ordered two burgers there and got a shock. The Big Mac filled me up once again. McDonald's are ripping us off. Sauce tastes a bit different here now too. Sweeter, more nutmeggy. Not the burger it used to be for sure.

Tried the grand mac last week. Tried the Mega Jack when it first came out(well the second time as it's been here before years ago named the King burger from memory) and I prefer the Megajack.flamed grilled beef wins every time something maccas can't compete. Top review M8.

Except they arent flame grilled to order but cooked in large amounts then put in a warmer tray and they can be kept theres for 3 hours....... yes i know crazy lol. And then they make them and zap in a heat box for 30seconds or so and then serve

The meat on the Jack didn’t extend to the edge of the bun. The Mac extended to the edge and beyond. I would have compared the burgers and not the bun.

But on one side of the grand mac it was extending out, on the other side you couldn't see it, so it was not centred within the bun. The bun was also a lot smaller on the grand mac, so put that patty in the mega jack bun and you are also not likely to see it at all.

2 Aussie I have two Grand macs today one with Mac sauce and the other without mac sauce, yes for both I had 1 cheese on top layer and other cheese on bottom layer, no pickles for both. The one without mac sauce doesn't fall apart. If you want to try one with mac sauce and one with out, you can if you wish to ask one cheese on top layer and one on bottom layer.

You can see which one you liked the most, normally you eat a bit of both fairly evenly through the video. This time you had a bit of both at first but smashed the rest of the Mac. Price is a factor also, but I still think HJ over do the sauce portion where as Makkas mostly get the amount right. The times Iv tried the HJ versions were always way over sauced to the level that the sauce was the only thing you can taste.

When the big Mac was first introduced it was made with 2 pieces of "quarter meat", as in each piece is a quarter pound before cooking. Now it is made with 2 pieces of "10-1 meat", meaning each is 1.6 ounces before cooking. So, again, yes the big Mac is smaller, quite significantly.
