The blue button next to the heater is also part of the frost valve. Usually if the outside temp goes below about 3 degrees C it will open this valve and dump the water if it isn’t in use. Always worth knowing in spring!

Thank you for your videos! Just a tip before filling water just push the “Tank Control” 🔈option and when the tank is full the GC will beep a loud alarm so you can hear from outside without need to be checking the tank level 😊

@@Simon67316 yes it is! Just press the speaker icon on the water levels screen it will start to beep once it gets full you will hear a continuous sound instead the beep

Hallo Chris. In the little manual of the Vw Grand they say you can empty the clean water tank completely or you can empty the tank and leave 2O l water in. How does it work ? Greetings from Belgium.

Hi Chris, I'm Dom from France. First, many thanks for all your videos about the Grand California, very helpful and well done ! I have a question about the water pump... I have my Grand California 600 2022 from only yesterday. Everything seems to be OK but the water pump (under the bed, on the water tank) is ON almost all the time... As soon as I use an electrical accessory, the control panel, the light, or obviously when I draw water, the pump stays on for several minutes and makes noise... I don't understand why... Can you explain that, ro tell me what to do to stop it ? Have a nice day, long live your YT channel !

We had the same issue, micro switch in the tap wasent working corrected and ended up burning motor. You can disconnect motor manually from inside that area under the bed.

@@Simon67316 yes, in the end. A completely new tank and pump fitted. Now the screen for the habitation section of the van has gone haywire. A new one was fitted and it failed immediately. Waiting for the next one. (Ouch!)
