Grand Canyon Fishing. Jay and Chase fish Lees Ferry

Jay and Chase go fishing for rainbow trout at the world-class tailwater Lee's Ferry beneath the Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River. The cold, clear water and deep red cliffs of the river are hard to beat. There are an estimated 20,000 rainbow trout per mile in this river. Our 12' Jon boat may be a little small, but we made it to the dam, and managed to wrangle a few unwilling rainbows into it along the way.

Great vid! I live in the town just above the dam. I've only been rafting down the river to Lee's Ferry, but I've always wanted to fish that area too. My fave place to fly fish is the confluence where the Paria river meets the Colorado river at Lee's Ferry.
