00:04 The map shown was in error: US 180 begins at its junction with SR 64 in the town of Valle, and travels southeast to Flagstaff and beyond. Arizona State Route 64 is nearly a straight path from Williams, AZ. to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, then running along the southern rim of the Canyon, generally eastward all the way to Cameron, AZ., where it meets US 89.

Yes, it does appear that Google Maps has changed the way it labels this route. The Wikipedia entry on US 180 still seems vague as to its western terminus. Most likely, you are correct.
