Do you tip them besides the charter fees? I am not sure what is customary in Grand Cayman

Hi! We tipped them $20, because they did a really good job. $10-$20 per family is totally fine!

@@Jim-sk3ke some of the larger boats may have a bathroom otherwise…. They should provide life jackets upon request. The actual sandbar where the stingray are is only about 4 feet deep. Do it!! It’s sooooo worth it!

Did you feel rushed trying to find your tour guide or to make it back on the boat? Nervous about booking with a private company.

The only time we felt worried was getting off the boat onto the tender to make it to the guide by the meeting time. There was a huge line to get off! We found the guide and we probably didn’t leave for another 15 to 20 minutes.
