Grand Cherokee front sway bar bushing replacement

Bad video. Bad advice. Bushings are available from Siberian Bushing USA. Just replaced bushings on my 2013 Cherokee.

Swaybar for Jeep Grand Cherokee around 2005 came in two sizes. 31 mm and 33 mm. Aftermarket Bushings from Napa, Rockauto etc simply wont fit. Its a lie to say it fits. Original bushings are also vulked to the bar. Dont try and replace these as it cant be done. If you go ahead, you must buy also new metal bows/brackets to press the bushing to the frame; but again, since the bushing wont be a fit because a too small diameter, dont even try. This is a simply a job that cant be done unless you buy a new mopar swaybar. Selling those fake bushings should be criminal.

Be careful that. This bushing is not replaceable for 2012 grand Cherokee. At the dealer, they only sell all assembly. The bracket which hold the bushing has lock. Only can open by air hammer with chisel. Also this way will damage the bracket even though you have chance to change after market bushing. It’s not easy.

Filthy oil leak will rot rubber. No wonder rubber bushings are stuffed. Fix oil leak as well.

Side to side wasn’t possible shift the sway bar, even whit a wear Bushing’s, only up and down
