One real quick safety comment. For the Anderson levelers you placed the wheel chalks on the wrong side of the tire. The chalk should go to the opposite side of the tire from the leveler. For example, if you pull forward onto the leveler, the chalk goes on the back side of the tire. The natural tendency for tire that is on the leveler will be to to roll back off of the leveler, especially if you only had to pull up a few inches on to the leveler. By putting the chalk to the opposite side that will stop the tendency to roll. I only know this because I placed the chalks like you did the first time I used mine, and I almost had my trailer slip off the tongue jack block.

Awesome tutorial! We just bough our 2400BH and I have a quick question, the front water controls you briefly covered the difference between the city water and fresh water selection. I understand the city water selection is with a water hook up at the camp site, but what is the fresh water selection for? Is that if I brought my own water in a tote or something? Thank you!

Congrats on the new camper! I'm sure you will love it. Yes, the fresh water is for filling up the onboard "potable" tank. We used that for when the campsite doesn't have a water hookup. Best not to travel with a full tank, so we fill up when we get to our destination. I also use a flow meter on the hose so I can gauge where I'm at in the fill up process.

Great video. Although, I would have liked to have seen the dumping of the second gray water pull. I have never seen a camper with two gray water pulls. Is there also a second hose connect (for that second pull) or is there just the one? Thanks.

Yes, I wish I would have shown that 2nd pull. It's right in front of the slide. Both gray tanks (and the black) all use the same outlet though.

How did you adjust the ball part for the jack? I only watched the factory video you posted and it did not discuss changing the ball part of the hitch.

We level the RV then measure the hgt of the coupler. Then use that measurement to move the ball on the adjustable shank. For renters we have them measure the hgt of the receiver on their truck and go from there.

Thanks. Empty weight is 5700lbs. It depends what model Denali you have. The full size trucks and Yukon's will pull it just fine.

Not a setup question but we're considering this exact same setup with the same WDH. How would you rate the Andersen WDH on this trailer?

10/10. Couldn't be happier. Easy to install and set up, distributes the weight well, easy to adjust, and I've never had a problem with sway. I think it uses magic! I have another RV w/ the big bars, so I love how light weight this set up is compared to that. You will not be disappointed with the Anderson set up.

Did you mention you are coming to Texas? Where do you plan on visiting? Big state. I grew up on the Iron Range in Minnesota and moved to Texas for college in the 70’s. We are looking at getting a TT like the imagine in the near future.

@@DriveNorth yes good choice. We had rolling blackouts and I have been replacing broken pipes in our garage apartment. As far as traveling to Minnesota, this Christmas was the 3rd time in my 61 years I missed a Christmas in Minnesota. We normally are up in Minnesota every Christmas and July. We will be driving up I-35 in June this year.

We have an elbow adapter that is also a water pressure regulator. I'm not sure what you mean by on/off.

Unfortunately that would not work. You would be maxed out before adding any cargo or passengers. We do have a 21' bunkhouse for rent that your Explorer would handle just fine though. www.outdoorsy.com/rv/130185

@@TheLimitedmod22 Good question. First question we ask when a booking request is started is, "what are you towing with"? We have weeded out a lot of under rated vehicles during this process. The most interesting was someone who wanted to rent out our 29' RV with their RAV4!
