Fit4ya1975 We just spent 9 days vacation in our trailer. Everything worked great. Loved the lights inside. Plenty of lightening for doing my crafts. Love the big windows, get plenty of light in. The out side lightening was very good for seeing after dark. Easy setup and teardown. Loved have the 2 slides. Used the hutch as my food prep area, and serving area. I'm so glad we got this trailer.

Nice review, but u didn't say anything about the outside wet bay, whether there is a sewer clean out or how the water directions work and axle weight and tire size. Please do more research when doing a review.

We think you were probably looking at the wrong video for the details you are requesting. We don't generally add axel wt and as mentioned in the description, this video was filmed in 2019 since then we have started including more on black tank flushes. It's always best to watch a video through to the end and take our advice on the other related videos we are pointing you towards as we are always trying to help you find the most information we can on related topics. You should always read through the extra information written in the description as well as you may find just what you are looking for there. It is very hard to put everything into a video without dragging it on for an hour that's why we split the content up. It's always best to have looked through everything before advising us. I have this unit. Bought mine last year right before the window was added above the stovetop - really wish I had that option. Overall, we use it often and love it. GD has been super helpful w new unit issues. One note - the furrion microwave is also a convection oven.

You are right the microwave is a convection and I did point out the correction in the video. I do my best to be as accurate as I can but it is always great to hear from owners with first hand experience. Sounds like you are enjoying your Reflection and I can see why these are great rigs. It is good to hear that GD is doing a good job with dealing with issues, anything big happen?

Yeah, us too! We were at so many dealerships looking at them that we lost track and didn't realize we didn't have the window until we had already purchased it (it was in maintenance getting slide toppers that we requested put on and we didn't realize until we saw it again). It was the only 303 at this dealership and we thought they swapped it out on us for an older one. I called Grand Design and found out when it was built and we missed the window by about eight units!

Yes, thank you! We're definitely enjoying it. If we didn't have a big window on that side on the Class C that we sold before this, it wouldn't have even been an issue. We're used to it now, so no big deal!

I'm early in my learning about RV's and really benefiting from your reviews. Thank you. Something you do that is extremely helpful is your separation of the actual RV unit review vs your analysis of each builder's construction methods - I'm not only learning about design features but coming to understand how important the design and construction philosophy of the builder creates lasting value or future headaches for the owner... Both versions of review incorporate your very helpful insights about how things work in the real world- highly valuable to a learner and more experienced RVer alike (and given that you are not an RV salesperson your assessment of what could be improved is invaluable...) One suggestion for your consideration is that the camera often seems to stay focused on the presenter when she is discussing something that may be lower than her waist....Panning down and having the cameraman pan out wider to give perspective on the room (I know these are often tight quarters!) would be helpful. All and all, a very high value production which is deeply appreciated.

Couple questions/concerns: can you get to the fridge, pantry, bathroom, and bedroom with the slides in? Looks like yes except for the pantry perhaps? And second, why in world is a window right next to the cooktop and why no tile on the wood next to the cooktop? The splatter from cooking a greasy hamburger would get all over the window and wood. Hate that. Am i wrong? And, is it true that it is only a DVD player by the tv? No blu-ray? Love this unit a LOT overall though. Any washer/dryer hookups? No black out shades in bedroom? Really? And it has a duct in floor in bedroom? I thought GDs claim to fame was no floor ducts. That’s too bad. Only one plug in by head board in bed? None on left side? And any option to get King size bed? I doubt it but would be nice....great review. Thanks!

We do think you could access at least one side of the fridge but probably not the pantry with the slides in but yes you could get into the bathroom and bedroom but you would not be able to walk all the way around the bed. I hear your point about the the mess on the window near the stove but we would still choose to keep the window and you are so right about backsplashes on the wood, they do need to be there but it would be an easy thing to add on your own to your own tastes in decor. They do include the blue tooth DVD but we don't think there is blu-ray again maybe something you could add. We don't believe this one has w/d hookups and again you could put something up in the bedroom if you want complete black out, we never would so it is not something we had considered. We have been a little perplexed when we see a duct in the bedroom floor which has happened a few times. We aren't sure why but we suspect it has something to do with getting the ducting up into the upstairs furniture. There was a plug on each side of the bed it was just hard to see and we don't think you can put a King bed in the no slide models. Glad you liked it and hope we have helped you out some. Those sofas are called a fold-n-tumble sleeper. I know Grand Design uses a lippert chassis but it would be nice to know what the axle rating is and if you can order a higher rated one as an option. Their website doesn't give any information.

Thanks for the question and I have been searching for the answers. I agree the website does not give much info about the chassis on the website or in brochures. I did speak with a contact, Jordie at Voyager RV Centre in Winfield BC. He tells me that this 5th would have 2 7000 lb lippert axels, which is plenty for the trailer but as far as your question regarding changing them out the answer is No. The reason being that what weight the trailer can handle is not just based on the axels but the entire chassis build itself, also. Hope that helps.

@@DoesSizeMatter There is now way those are 7000lb axels. more like 5200 lbs. Why would they put 14000 worth of axels on a trailer with a Gross weight of 12000 lbs and 20% of that is on the pin.

Just an update! I spoke with a GD rep and he confirmed the suspicions of others in our comments that GD has moved to Dexter axels gradually over the past couple of years and any made today will be Dexter.

Just wanting to check and double check facts and I found that indeed all 12000 lb GD Solitude trailers do have 7000lb axels. So I'm sure that is good news for you as it will allow your CCC to be higher. Thanks for watching.

Your the only one that has shown that the King fridge freezer is one big area. I always thought there were 2 separate boxes

Jeff problem is GD hasn’t installed these all correctly. Too much clearance in the box that the fridge is installed in and a laughable lack of insulation used. Causes faulty operating conditions. Check all the reflection forums with this model fridge installed in a slide. It’s pathetic. And GD has done nothing for us to remedy the problem since we bought it new just over two years ago. Now guess what...out of warranty. Lol

You never mentioned what year the coach was until you showed the sale price sign. You left out the rating of the receiver hitch (only 300 lbs for a 2018 which is hardly enough for two bicycles and rack.) Rating for the 2019 is 3000 lbs. same as Jayco. I could mention more but if you are going to do a review, read the brochure at least.
