Loved seeing Bruce again, what other RV dealership is going to do a triple big guy test on the sofa for our viewing pleasure. Likes: 1) Love the all Furrion kitchen appliance set and the air conditioning unit. Wish they had included the Furrion television as well so everything was single branded. 2) Love how they did not cram a dinette into the space and made plenty of versatile storage space. Dislikes: 1)the corner in the kitchen is kind of cramped, maybe open storage in the top cabinet 2)Wish there was a water spray point on the passenger side to spray off with

This has to be one of the best floor plans I’ve seen in a long time. I’m glad it doesn’t have the dinette as i usually end up eating from the sofa and there’s plenty of room to set up a foldable table and chair(s) if you do need a table. The amount of storage and counter space in the kitchen is great. And I’m 6’3” like Will, so the bathroom is great too. This is a travel trailer i could afford and use.

Matt can you perhaps offer some information on Manufacturers are offering Real Off-Grid capabilities as camp grounds with hook-ups are getting harder to find? Preference would be 12v frig, roof solar, inverters; as many of the advertised solar prep on the sides of some TT's are pathetic in their capability. Thank You for the Great work.

Terrific, fun and informative review. I live in Florida and actually toured this model transcend on 7.10.21. I love that it has a solar panel!!! I love the long awning and ability to get it to lower one or both sides to have rain run off and not pool. The minute you walk into this unit, you are struck with the spacious feel...I love the couch and table that fits under the bed. The amount of storage and counter space is amazing. I love the farm sink and faucet. I love the medicine cabinet, porcelain toilet and spacious shower. I fell in love with this model and price point. I currently have a 32 foot Prowler XL by Heartland; this is currently serving my needs but I hope to downgrade to something smaller and well thought out design.

I am a fan of the RV site, but now considering a TT or fifth wheel. I love the floor plan, space and quality of all the Grand Design models. Including this one. a great starter TT. Also enjoyed seeing Bruce in the video, he brings another level of expertise to your channel.

Thanks so much for finally reviewing a Transcend. We bought our first TT this year and after watching a hundred KZbin tours and touring dozens of RVs ourselves, we went with the Transcend 297QB. Sacrificed some things (fireplace was a biggie), but Grand Design is amazing with their storage and livable layouts. Please review some of the larger Transcends when you're able...I would love to see Matt's and Will's thoughts. Also, these Furrion 12V fridges seem to be having some specific issues that need some work. I'm confident that Furrion will do some modifications, but I'd list that as a negative in the current model year Transcends.

Finally having solar standard. I think they should also always have two Max Fans standard- and covered air vents- let's face it the trailers are moisture sensitive. Love the upgrade to the recliners- everyone eats outside unless it is rainy day. Finally right across from the tv too. Nice long counter in the kitchen without having to fold it down. Counter space on the stove side and the sink side and noticed a nice spray faucet and a large single sink .Nice size shower and shower door.Also like the amount of windows- let the sun shine in. Two negatives are the carpet- just stop the carpet - there is nothing good about carpet in the slide out or anywhere in a camper and not a fan of the stairs.

Nice travel trailer. Love Grand design. Not a big fan of open bed floorplans prefer bedroom to be separate but still a nice camper. Would love to see you review a transcend 240 mL. The one we are considering in the future. Guys you do a great job with reviews. Would also like to see the cracker barrel factor with slides in.

Love this TT. It seems to me though, that if the TT manufacturers are going to make slides on their winter/extended/cold weather packages, that slide covers should be standard. Nobody wants to go up on the roof with 2 inches of snow on it to sweep it off, plus it seems to me that it's a safety hazard. I can guarantee that any TT that I buy will have slide covers on the slides. Love the floor plan and I think with all the storage that kitchen had, that they could have removed the storage under the television, and put in a Furrion Fireplace, while retaining the shelf space. With enough creativity, you could set it up a bit and make a shoe cubby to the left as you enter the door. I also wish you would expound upon the slide seals and what type of slide system is used. I am pretty sure that GD uses rack and pinion on their RVs, but this always seems to be an area you gloss over quickly.

My counter space literally is 14”x14” and that’s it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️ I don’t have dislikes. Just have to figure out where the kiddos -I have two. 11$6- will sleep. When not with me. Bruce! You have two great guys there! QUESTION: Is it okay to use the slide out to sit in when it's in the in position. This model reminds me of the 17 Imagine XLS with the great counter space and bathroom. Love they finally went to a 12V fridge! Now they need to upgrade to Azdel in their fiberglass trailers. I think I almost preder the stick & tin. Too many fiberglass trailers are just "spot" welded where you can't see it. The only thing is though the Imagine XLS is only a few k 's more for a laminated trailer......I would be pleased with this one though and put the savings into solar. I like that I can see Will in the trailer and can she see how I fit in the camper. I like how you have the PPP. I have been in some campers and thought, why put a toilet here? Might as well not have a bathroom. This is a camper the wife and I might be able to afford.

This is an awesome entry level trailer that offers almost everything a $40,000 trailer would! One drawback to your solid step preference. My door is in the rear of my RV and I have been on some not so level front to back ground before and my steps would not fold down enough to close the door? Since I was not on sand or dirt, I had to raise the 4 wheels to make it work?

If I had a truck this is the RV I would have purchased. Love: counterspace, dry bath, short length. Dislike: too heavy vs. other trailers in its class, exterior graphics are a bit busy, would prefer a u-dinette to the "dinofa" setup.

Personally, I love the U-shaped dinettes. I'd choose that over the sofa. Overall, great trailer! Is this the Wayland, MI location, or does General RV have a Grand Rapids location now? I doubt they would have two locations within 20 minutes of each other.

I’ve been watching plenty of videos of the Grand Design Imagine XLS MKE. And I really think it’s perfect for me and my friend. It’s a nice size for my Yukon to tow. With plenty of space. But now I just watched your video of the Grand Design Transcend 200ML. It like three feet longer but cost less than the imagine. Just curious why is that?

Likes: the spacious floor plan, the storage (inside and out), the big bathroom and shower. Dislikes: The fridge does seem crammed in where it is and it seems a little small (although I'm fine with that weird corner counter-space, it's a great spot for things like a coffee maker, instapot, toaster, etc...). Reversing the fridge door might help if there's room for the door to swing open against the counter. The color scheme is blah and uninteresting (and out-dated, imo). The aluminum steps. But overall, I liked this unit, although I'd probably want the dinette instead of the couch since I need a desk area for my computer. Video suggestion: You always remind us to use weight distribution hitches. How about doing a video on those: what to get for what size truck/trailer combo for best results. For example: My Nissan Frontier has a tow capacity around 6800 lbs. I probably won't buy a trailer until next year, but I'd like to get necessary accessories now to have everything ready. Which hitch should I buy? One rated for 10,000 lbs? Or will that be too stiff?
