I had the pleasure last week of walking through the big Brinkley travel trailer. It reminded me as a high end Lance RV in that the fit and finish of EVERYTHING is just about perfect, storage is AMAZING as EVERYWHERE that could be used for storage has been used. The bedroom storage……. I’m speechless!!! I’ve never seen such great bedroom storage short of an RV with a bedroom slide. The shades actually cover ALL of the window instead of letting light shine around the edges like most RVs do. Brinkley has DEFINITELY raised the bar with what can be done in an RV. Bravo Brinkley, bravo!

❤❤❤❤❤ Brinkley just said “HOLD MY BEER…” and created the BEST DESK/DINING SOLUTION of ANY RV. While I’m not a fan of projection screens, I have seen good ones that just worked! The ability to plug your laptop into that projector/screen is AWESOME! The desk space is also AWESOME!
@kfh2273 сағат бұрын
Agree on the projector but if I go out with my trailer, I better not be concerned about the TV being a priority.
@Erin-Thor3 сағат бұрын
@ - I can see that, but I like to spend a few hours looking at my investments every day. A proper desk and big screen is a productivity need not a want. A projection screen is my biggest concern about this. I would need to see that in use to make a purchase decision. Add that being able to watch the morning news, weather, etc. in the mornings is something I love. So while vacationing, YES, a TV is something to be avoided… while traveling it becomes a tool. I’ve altered our travel plans several times due to weather forecasts.

Unlike some others who don’t seem to understand physics, I’m genuinely impressed. This is clearly a small, couple’s camper and the two-seat dining/media arrangement works very well. It leaves the floor plan open and provides media facing seats. The overhang would take some getting used to, however EVERY rv has a component that takes getting used to. As I have a family, I’m not in the market for this one, but kudos to Brinkley. Fit and finish looks amazing.
@htschultz2 сағат бұрын
what does physics have to do with anything here and why is it important to you to have such a wide open floorplan in that living area? i understand i'm likely in the minority here, but as much as i can appreciate the desk/table area, i'd actually prefer a traditional dinette, even at the risk of being old-fashioned, giving up precious floor space, and not truly understanding physics.
@JoshtheRVNerd2 сағат бұрын
"who don't seem to understand physics" got me snorting over here
@MrSlinki52Сағат бұрын
@@htschultz Where physics come into play, is simply that you have limited space and weight in order to maintain 1/2 towing. A dinette would be larger, meaning you either extend the trailer to accommodate, or you shrink the kitchen space to accommodate. I use the kitchen daily, where as I will eat outside, on the sofa, or the table. I go entire camping trips without using our dinette, so I don’t want to lose kitchen space for dinette space. As for making larger, well, it would now be longer and heavier. Likely no longer 1/2 ton towable. Lastly, as far as why I like open spaces, that’s my preference. Have a great day!

@@JoshtheRVNerd My work is done here!! 😂
@htschultzСағат бұрын
@@MrSlinki52, first of all sir, thank you for your response--I appreciate the clarification. I do like the contemporary look of the table/desk, but if the weather is decent, we're cooking/eating/hanging out outside regardless. But when the weather is crummy and we're forced inside, then we're likely cooking/eating/working inside, and in those situations, for us, given the choice (if there was an option), we'd opt for function (dinette) over form (table/desk). All that being said, it's a moot point for us as I previously shared, as the weight is simply far too heavy for our TV, so I'm not really their target demo with my lightweight MB GLE SUV, as this beauty requires some sort of robust pickup truck. Thanks!

I really like it but I think a couple of tweaks could make it perfect for me. No window in the door is fine, I'd keep the shade pulled all the time anyway. Besides, you have that big window right next to it to peek out of. I like the under-the-bed storage as it is but changing the tall dresser into a wardrobe with drawers would be a good idea. Also, I'd move the pantry to the other side of the theater seat leaving the fridge in the kitchen area. The seat would be between the pantry and the fridge so that the view screen is more centered on the seat. That's it. That's all I would want to change to make it perfect for me.

I love the look of this, the kitchen is centralised in its appliances, which is how I like it. I would have hide a bed, which keeps the versatility for me. I'd have to get the kids to teach me how to use the projector. I love that the desk extends, and would make the space for the kitchen be massive if you wanted it to be, you may be batch cooking or having a buffet etc. I love the kitchen window over the sink. The kitchen storage is very good. I'd give up a dishwasher to have an oven to be honest. I like the planned ideas for the pantry. The bedroom looks bright and open, and I love the nightstands. Mine would be my chargers and devices and anything I wanted to hide from the OH or kids! I don't think I'd use the hanging space under the bed, I'd rather have totes, or zipped bags. I like having the option to hang stuff in the newer plan. I don't have much to hang up, particularly if I'm camping. The width of the living area looks huge as you're walking out of the bedroom. I love the bathroom, great features, nice space, decent size bathroom sink (for a change!!) And plenty of storage, with a fabulous shower. I really, really like this, I'd be hard pushed to find something I don't like. Any negative observations have been the lucky variety #nerdherd #rvnerdherd They could string some plastic tubing in the shower and have a washing line for delicate hand wash stuff😂😂 Brinkley A+ Does the indoor/outdoor entertainment thing mean that if you're having a movie night inside, that passers by can see what you're watching? That confused me a little bit.
@kimochristy3635Сағат бұрын
You have the option of watching the projector either inside or out. Josh didn’t touch on the window which has an electronic component that makes the glass clear or frosted. This is activated by a dedicated switch. When watching inside you will use the pull down shade as your screen.

Beautiful rig 1. Love the bathroom layout. 2. Unique approach in entertainment is interesting, worth the try. 3. Storage is great. Negatives: 1. Counter space is limited. I do wonder if they would be better off going with a two burner stove given the lack of the oven. A vertically oriented stove would really open up some counter / prep space. 2. It would be great if you could rotate table so you could sit across from someone rather than just "next to someone".

1) i wish the dinette/desk slid all the way in, even if the cabinet needs to be larger. I see too many bruises happening to me with the current setup. 2)Take out the double chair with center armrest, put in a loveseat and make the slide 6-8 inches smaller to be able to reach the bedroom in travel mode. The lack of skylight in the shower is brilliant. Overall I really dig it 😀

MOST rv theater seats are made "piecewise" meaning you have 3 pieces there which are hooked together.. meaning they can usually be unhooked and re-arranged. So you'd be able to remove the armrest or put it off to the side

Maybe its something I commented before, but when you put a projector against a window, or the screen is just in front of a window, you have to put a grey one to see it better. Grey screens are made to help maintain black levels in brighter rooms, or help black levels with low contrast projectors, so yes, it helps for getting better contrast when there is a more brighter ambient.

Thanks for sharing Josh--it's a beautiful trailer and I'm delighted to see Brinkley move down-market with this 1/2-ton towable trailer, ala Alliance Delta 6 months or so ago (the more competition, the better for consumers). Unfortunately this one doesn't work for me due to weight (our TV has a max capacity of just 7700#). Other than that, love the 2 AC units, design innovations throughout, anti-sway tech is cool, appreciate the upgraded equalizer, but for me, the Hankooks (I'd immediately swap them out for Goodyears) and leaf spring suspension are both big misses (why no torsion?). And while we're at it, while I suspect most consumers will appreciate the versatility of the desk/table arrangement, we're OG and still prefer a traditional dinette, so we can eat ACROSS from one another and see/talk to each other more easily than being next to one another. It's also easier (for us at least) to play games, cards, etc.

The table pulled out and then a half flipped to create a full table top. It was nice to store the table when not in use and to be able to get to the storage below easier.

Sounds like maybe a cougar setup. This is a little different

If they installed a ceiling mounted hanging rod for clothes into the pantry, it would add optional full-length closet space. Also, a flip-up side to the kitchen counter, and I agree, it needs dedicated wastebasket area under the sink. But this one is almost perfect.

Very nice floorplan, and if the quality is there, the price is comparable to eg Lance and way better than some others eg Airstream. Good luck to Brinkley.

I've got to have a bigger living room with the one of those fireplaces and also the L couch .I know it's hard to get on one of those, but you showed one with a patio .I forget The model it had everything I wanted. I like the ones with the patios one of them extends out. As far as the projector it's interesting but I still want to dedicate a TV and maybe have a the screen as a backup at night for more movies! What can you tell us that bill quality with this Builder is definitely above average

Thanks nerd! I wonder if they would be interested in making one without the pantry, so the slide could be 1ft-1/12ft shorter, allowing for travel access. I just really like being able to load for a trip without having to open the slide parking out from of the house.

My understanding is they MAY flip the fridge and pantry but I don't see them offering one without pantry. Interesting idea though

My only request would be to be able to option different color options on the cabinets and faucets… the gold is a little too glamorous me. Curious where the folding chairs store while in travel?.

Great concept model. The other guys should be looking at this. Love the decor tone. Not sure on the projection tv. Like the concept but don't want to share with neighbors at night and iffy viewing outside in bright conditions. Foot well under bed storage - great idea. Pull out dinette - great space saver. Dishwasher ready - eh. Put the trash pullout there and provide more/different drawers where the trash pull out is. Dresser rework to upper hanging space - sure. Ceiling height, ac, fans - yes. TPS monitor should be standard - safety first.

Without question it'll be one of the more expensive 30ft models out there but that's what it takes to have all the extra features and heavier build you get with one of these

Nice Trailer! I think I would prefer to sacrifice the storage next to the recliners for a larger sofa option similar to the Alliance 252RL… Josh, how is the floor constructed? Wood or composite? Thanks!

Same as the Z Air - Azdel/composite/aluminum

I am shopping for a 5th wheel and not a travel trailer, but if I was shopping for a trailer, this would be it! If I had to nitpick, I'd ask for a little more factory solar, I feel like they can throw a second panel there pretty easily. Couldn't get a clear look inside the freezer compartment of that fridge, did it have any shelving or racks or was it just a giant hole to throw things into?

I really like third trailer! My only issue is the slide out dinette table. I think it only needs to be half the size so that it will slide all the way into the counter.
@d1ja63 сағат бұрын
I was thinking they should have just made that cabinet the same depth as the rest of the cabinets. Then the table could slide all the way in. That would also provide better access to the space underneath.
@JoshtheRVNerd3 сағат бұрын
I can so it going either way. I don't mind it as-is so that it creates extra counter space and open as needed

This is perhaps the nicest trailer I have seen yet that slips in just under 30 feet (right where I am with our Cougar 26RBS--perfect max length for our travel needs which includes a lot of government parks that often have smaller sites)..could well see one of these in my future. One question...It has solar on the roof, but is there a zamp plug somewhere else on the trailer to be able to plug in portable solar panels? We have a few of our favorite off grid camp spots that are in the shade, so I use a couple of portable panels that I can place away from the trailer such that they get some direct sun. Great review. Will be having a close look at this model once it starts hitting dealerships.
@JoshtheRVNerd2 сағат бұрын
Yeah I agree. It's crazy forward thinking and modern vs most of the marketplace I don't recall seeing a portable solar plug.. though those panels can usually hook directly up to the batteries rather than run thru a plug

Overall fantastic design tho! Now hopefully Brinkley is working on a pull behind type toy hauler in the 32-36 ft range with 100-150 fresh tank, Pull down bunk in the rear.
