I have been in Malaysia personally for few days and experienced the fear and insecurity among the Shias there. I found strange that the Malaysian Government allowed pub, red light areas and other things which are root cause of destroying any society but ban Shia faith and it's propagation. After watching this documentary I can say that very strongly that they actually have fear from Shia faith, the fear that Shia will expose the Sunni belief, the fear that more Sunnis will start following Shiesm after knowing the truth.

They have well maintained "Budhas" in Malaysia (standing budha, sleeping budha etc). Even they allow open procession of Chinese and Hindus religions on roads as well as in open areas. All these are considered open Shirk in Islam. But they forbid Shia to practice, I think they dont know that Shia follow One God and Prophet. Insane. Bro thay guy was a deputy mufti of 1 state out of 13 federated states in malaysia. There is 1 highest authorised body which control the islamic affairs of malaysia. The documentary itself seems misleading buyers and out of contact when it comes to islamic perspective of highest islamic authority in malaysia. For example why dont they interview the grand mufti of selangor state where majority of syiah members were detained by them? In fact the video part on detention of syiah followers etc were recorded in that respective state ie selangor. And there were many info regarding malaysia's stands or fatwaas or islamic verdicts on syiah sects available online since ages ago.. but however all written in malay language not english. And at the same time dont we agree that the issues of sunni-syiah had been discussed throughout history since 1000 years ago... so y worry n dissapointed only now?

It's a matter of following ... Does the Malaysian fatwa follow the sunnah Nabi SAW or sunnah of Muawiyah, Yazid and the other zalim kings? Even kings like Muawiyah and Yazid, never prohibited shia in their legal framework (correct me if i am mistaken). Certainly, they made actions on the contrary to that policy because they openly showed hatred to ahlulbait Rasul (they're nawashib). So, seems to me the Government of Malaysia (GoM) is following the nawashib rulers, although i am sure that no single muslim in the GoM would declare that s/he is a nashibi. Now, just imagine that Rasul SAW was now here living among us. On preserving and sustaining the true Islam after his demise, would he prohibit following Ali or, on the contrary, encourage muslims to follow the teachings of Islam as explained by Ali and the other ahlulbait? Remember, sunnis claim to also follow the teachings of Ali and ahlulbait despite their lack of resources on it (compared to those of shia), especially in the number of hadits narrated by members of ahlulbait. So, i am sure that Rasul would, at least, not prohibit shia, and instead, he would prohibit following sunnah of nawashib (among which is terrorism).

Ahlul Sunah claim to be follower of Sunnah of Prophet saww but in reality they have change and altered every thing, If According to this so called Sunni Scholar Sunni are haq then why In every Sunni Country there are many sub sect of Sunnis? Pakistan is Hanfi majority but infact here in Pakistan Hanfi are divided into 4 main sect Bralevi, Deobandi, Ahl e Hadith and Suffi, and Bralvi are not allowed to pray in Deobandi mosque amd wise verse, If I talk about other Countries like Nigeria there are many many sub sect among sufis, In India, Bangladesh every sect is divided while In entire World Shia are 97% Follower of Jaffery Fiqh.. Following are some main thing which sunnis have introduced in their religion but it has nothing to do with Sunnah of Prophet saww 1) Breaking fast early in evening while Quran clearly say to break your fast at night (Word Lail) is clearly in Ayah of Quran more over if we study hadith books Its narrated that many Companion of Prophet saww had broke their fast in Holy Month of Ramadan after offering magrib prayer it do make sense because after magrib prayer lail(night) start to begin But in Sunni World they don't follow Quran 2) Prayer of Tarawi in Jamat was introduced by Umer ibn Khattab as sunni books narrated that Umer often used to say that this Tarravi prayer is "Ahsan ul Biddat" best among biddah funny thing he himself accept this fact that it was biddah.. Prophet saww never offered Such prayer even in Sunni so called narration its written thst when Prophet saww saw that people started this prayer he postponed this Tarawi.. 3) Sunni Introduced New word in Fajar Azan which is Prayer is better than sleep, again if one see its origin again you will see its Umer ibn Khattab who started this there was no such thing in Prophet saww life 4) Khums which is mentioned in Quran,In Entire Sunni World there is no concept of Khums, While Allah has ordered Muslim to pay khums 5th portion of their saving to Sayyid (Off spring) of Prophet saww.. 5) Combining Zohar with Asr and Magrib with isha is part of Sunnah and 6th Sahih books of Sunnis have many chapter of this but we see today in entire Sunni World Only on day of Hajj people combine such prayer while in narration its clearly written that Prophet saww used to combine Zohar with asr and Magrib with isha and there was no storm, No travel and when Prophet saww was asked why he is doing this he replied for ease of Umah! Sunni have left this Sunnah due to resemblance with Shias Ah! 6) In Quran in chapter of Ablution Allah has ordered Muslim to do Masah of head and feet at the end of ablution but again even the Arabic word Masah has came in Ayah but in entire Sunni World they claim to be follower of Sunnah but in reality they never do Masah of feet rather washed their feet going not only against Quran but also against Sunnah, Salat is accepted if Wadu(Ablution) is according to Quran and Sunnah! 7) In 6 Hadith books of Sunni its narrated from many Companion Prophet saww said on his last Hajj that I am leaving behind two thing if you hold them you will never go astray 1) Quran 2) Ahlulbayt Now Sunni have just given focus on Quran but related to Ahlulbayt they claim to be lover of Ahlulbayt but Prophet saww did not only asked to love but to Hold them now In Sunni World specially in Saudia, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Moroco, Sudan, Algeria Sunni have never ever hold Ahlulbayt practically that is why in Fiqh, Hadith, Interpretation(Tafsir) of Quran all they prefer is Abu Hurira alone and some Companion, But Who can know better than Ahlulbayt? The way of Salat, Fasting, Ablution, Tafsir of Quran, Fiqh? But in Sunni most Sahih books like bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi, Masnad Ahmed how many narration of Hadith are from Ahlulbayt? Dear Sunnis guess or count exactly you will not find any narration of Hadith from Ali, Hassan, Hussain, Fatima!! All number of narration from them is less than 100 out of thousands of Hadith in this 6 books now want to tell you in Shia books of Hadith total number of narration of Hadith from Ali, Hassan, Hussain, Fatima is more than 15 thousand! We take every thing from Quran and Ahlulbayt, And then you laugh at us? Its us who are entitled to laugh at you guys because You left Ahlulbayt in every field of religion! In Hadith, in Fiqh, In Interpretation of Holy Quran, In Salat, in Fasting in you daily life!

Isa al Muhajir migrated from Baghdad with his family to stay away from the confusions of the Shiites. He managed to move to Hsadhramaut and rebuilt his family and his religious beliefs far from the Shiites of Baghdad during the times of the Abbasid Caliphate. Iran only became a full Shiite state in the 18th century, that is in the times of the Ottoman. The descendants of Isa al Muhajir brought Islam to the South East Asia in the 14th century. He and his descendants are ahl bait, but not the Irani shiites. They married into the local Royal families and established multitude of Sultanates in South East Asia. That is the reason for the Kedah state enactment against Shiism. Shiism that is trying to be portrayed are alien , the people who are interviewed are born Sunnis. Most likely spread by th Persians in the 1980s. Our beliefs are a mirror of the Hadhrami Sayyids (ahl bait) and not the Persian Clergy. Allowing for other faiths that is the continuous practice of previous Sultan. As the Sultan is head of Islam, he is the defender of his brand of Islam i.e. the Ahl Sunnah Wal Jamaah......

Kalau Syiah Sesat, Mengapa Boleh Masuk Tanah Suci Untuk Mengerjakan Haji dan Umrah? Bertahun-tahun silam pernah diadakan diskusi antara seorang Ustaz dari PP Persis Bandung dengan Jalaluddin Rahmat (tokoh Syiah berasal dari Bandung). Dalam makalahnya, Ustaz Persis itu tanpa berselindung membuat kajian berjudul, “Syiah Bukan Bahagian dari Islam”. Ketika sesi dialog berlangsung, Ustaz Persis itu -dengan pertolongan Allah- mampu mematahkan argument-argument Jalaluddin Rahmat. Kejadiannya mirip, ketika dilakukan diskusi di Malang antara Jalaluddin Rahmat dengan Ustaz-ustaz Persis; ketika merespon lahirnya buku Islam Aktual, karya Jalaluddin Rahmat. Ada satu saat penting menjelang akhir diskusi di Bandung itu. Ketika itu Jalaluddin mengusulkan pertanyaan, “Kalau memang Syiah dianggap sesat dan bukan bahagian dari Islam, mengapa Kerajaan Arab Saudi masih memperbolehkan kaum Syiah menunaikan Haji ke Tanah Suci?” Nah, atas pernyataan ini, tidak ada tanggapan serius dari para Ustaz di atas. Dan ternyata, kata-kata serupa itu dipakai oleh Prof. Dr. Umar Shibah, tokoh Syiah yang menyusup ke lembaga MUI (Majlis Ulama Indonesia). Ketika kaum Syiah terdesak, dia mengemukakan kalimat pembelaan yang sama. “Kalau Syiah dianggap sesat, mengapa mereka masih boleh berhaji ke Tanah Suci?” Lalu, bagaimana kalau pertanyaan di atas disampaikan kepada kita semua wahai kaum Muslimin? Apa jawapan anda? Mengapa kaum Syiah masih boleh masuk ke Tanah Suci, baik MakkahAl Mukarramah mahupun Madinah Al Munawwarah? Berikut jawapan yang dikemukan berdasarkan diskusi yang dilakukan ketika itu : PERTAMA, sebaik-baik jawapan ialah Wallahu a’lam. Hanya Allah yang Tahu sebenar-benar alasan di sebalik keputusan Arab Saudi memberikan tempat bagi kaum Syiah untuk ziarah ke Makkah dan Madinah. KEDUA, dalam mazhab Syiah terdapat banyak golongan atau puak. Diantara mereka ada yang lebih dekat kepada golongan Ahlus Sunnah (iaitu Syiah Zaidiyyah-meskipun sebagian ulama sudah mengatakan Syiah Zaidiyyah sudah tergolong sesat dengan Syiah lainnya), ada yang sederhana kesesatannya, dan ada yang ekstrim (seperti Imamiyyah dan Ismailiyyah). Terhadap kaum Syiah ekstrim ini, rata-rata para ulama tidak mengakui keislaman mereka. Tetapi secara praktikalnya, tidak mudah membezakan kelompok-kelompok tadi. KETIGA, usia mazhab Syiah sudah sangat tua. Hampir setua usia sejarah Islam itu sendiri. Tentu cara menghadapi mazhab seperti ini berbeza dengan cara menghadapi Ahmadiyyah, aliran Lia Eden, dll. yang termasuk mazhab-mazhab baru. Bahkan Syiah sudah mempunyai sejarah sendiri, sebelum kekuasaan negeri Saudi dikuasai Dinasti Saud yang berfahaman Salafiyyah. Jauh-jauh hari sebelum Dinasti Ibnu Saud berdiri, kaum Syiah sudah masuk Makkah-Madinah. Ibnu Hajar Al Haitsami penyusun kitab As Shawaiq Al Muhriqah, beliau menulis kitab itu dalam rangka memperingatkan bahaya mazhab Syiah yang di masanya banyak muncul di Kota Makkah. Padahal kitab ini termasuk kitab turats klasik, sudah ada jauh sebelum era Dinasti Saud. KEEMPAT, kalau melihat identiti kaum Syiah yang datang ke Makkah atau Madinah, rata-rata tertulis “agama Islam”. Negara Iran saja mengisytiharkan mereka sebagai Jumhuriyyah Al Islamiyyah (Republik Islam). Revolusi mereka disebut Revolusi Islam (Al Tsaurah Al Islamiyyah). Data seperti ini tentu sangat menyulitkan untuk memastikan jenis mazhab mereka. Semuanya disebut “Islam” atau “Muslim”. KELIMA, kebanyakan kaum Syiah yang datang ke Makkah atau Madinah, mereka orang awam. Maksudnya, tahap 'kesyiah-an' mereka umumnya hanya ikut-ikutan, kerana tradisi, atau kerana desakan sekeliling. Orang seperti ini berbeza dengan tokoh-tokoh Syiah ekstrim yang memang sudah dianggap murtad dari jalan Islam. Tanda kalau mereka orang awam iaitu kemahuan mereka untuk datang ke Tanah Suci Makkah-Madinah itu sendiri. Kalau mereka Syiah ekstrim, tidak akan mahu datang ke Tanah Suci Ahlus Sunnah. Mereka sudah punya “tanah suci” sendiri iaitu: Karbala’, Najaf, dan Qum. Perlakuan terhadap kaum Syiah awam tentu harus berbeza dengan perlakuan kepada kalangan ekstrim mereka. KEENAM, orang-orang Syiah yang datang ke Tanah Suci Makkah-Madinah sangat diharapkan akan mengambil banyak-banyak pelajaran dari kehidupan kaum Muslimin di Makkah-Madinah. Bila mereka tertarik, terkesan, atau terpikat; mudah-mudahan mahu bertaubat dari agamanya, dan kembali ke jalan lurus, agama Islam Ahlus Sunnah. KETUJUH, hadirnya ribuan kaum Syiah di Tanah Suci Makkah-Madinah, hal tersebut adalah BUKTI BESAR betapa ajaran Islam (Ahlus Sunnah) sesuai dengan fitrah manusia. Meskipun para ulama dan kaum penyesat Syiah sudah bekerja keras sejak ribuan tahun lalu, untuk membuat agama baru yang berbeza dengan ajaran Islam Ahlus Sunnah; tetap saja fitrah mereka tidak boleh disangkal, bahawa hati-hati mereka terikat dengan Tanah Suci kaum Muslimin (Makkah-Madinah), bukan Karbala, Najaf, dan Qum. KELAPAN, kaum Syiah di negerinya sangat biasa memuja kubur, menyembah kubur, tawaf mengelilingi kubur, meminta tolong kepada ahli kubur, berkorban untuk penghuni kubur, dll. Kalau mereka datang ke Makkah-Madinah, maka praktik “ibadah kubur” itu tidak ada disana. Harapannya, mereka boleh belajar untuk meninggalkan ibadah kubur, sekiranya nanti mereka sudah kembali ke negerinya. Insya Allah. KESEMBILAN, pertanyaan di atas sebenarnya lebih layak diajukan ke kaum Syiah sendiri, bukan ke Ahlus Sunnah. Mestinya kaum Syiah jangan bertanya, “Mengapa orang Syiah masih boleh ke Makkah-Madinah?” Mestinya pertanyaan ini diubah dan diajukan ke diri mereka sendiri, “Kalau anda benar-benar Syiah, mengapa masih datang ke Makkah dan Madinah? Bukankah anda sudah mempunyai ‘kota suci’ sendiri?” Demikian sebahagian jawapan yang boleh diberikan. Semoga bermanfaat.

The deputy mufti doesn't seems to know much about Islamic history or Islam. The meaning of Mufti is - Muslim legal expert who is "empowered to give rulings on religious matters". He is trying argue both murderer and the victim are righteous. He keep saying that he forgot! There is another word for it, it's called "IGNORANT"! Shia propogandah. Go see the way the Shia (Rafitha) treat the Sunnis in Iran, Jews and Christians are better treated. They have contributed nothing to Islam except fitnah and division and hatred and distraction. Of all the expansions, conquests and defeats the Kufar have been dealt maybe 1% can be attributed to the Rafitha in all of Islamic history. Al Sunnah have always been at the forefront of defending Islam, scholarship and its borders throughout history, from Khalid to Salahudeen to Qutuz from Yarmouk to Ain Jalooot and Al Constantiniya. The Rafitha are nothing but a group obsessed with the misunderstanding the early Muslims had with leadership after the death of Muhammad (SAW) and have, like the Christians, turned there obsession and extremism of a particular issue to deviance. The legacy of Islam has always been carried by the blood, sweat and tears of Al Sunnah. May Allah guide them before its too late.

The four sunni imams have declared each other to be infidels *(Kuffar)* It is, however, astonishing that, knowing that the progeny of the Prophet are superior to all others, the Sunnis follow Abu'l-Hasan Ash'ari in the fundamentals of Islam and the four Imams in the articles of practice of the faith. To follow such a course is due to fanaticism and arrogance. And even if we suppose what you say is true, that your four Imams are worthy of your allegiance because they were learned and pious, then why has each of them accused the other of infidelity (Kufr)? You apparently haven't read your ulama’s books. Your own distinguished ulama’ have written books concerning their rejection. Even the four Imams have charged one another with violating divine laws. The companions of Abu Hanifa, Ibn Hajar (‘Ali Ibn Ahmad Andalusi, who died in 456 A.H.), and others have always censured Imam Malik and Muhammad Ibn Idris Shafi'i. Similarly, the companions of Imam Shafi'i, like Imamu'l- Haramain, Imam Ghazali and others have condemned Abu Hanifa and Malik. Let me ask you something: what sort of people were Imam Shafi'i, Abu Hamid Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ghazali, and Jarullah Zamakhshari? Imam Shafi'i said: "There never was born a more damned person in Islam than Abu Hanifa." He also said: "I looked into the books of the companions of Abu Hanifa, and I found in them 130 pages containing matter in opposition to the Holy Qur'an and the Sunna." Abu Hamid Ghazali in his book ‘Manqul fi Ilmi'l-Usul’ says: "In fact Abu Hanifa distorted the religious code, made its way doubtful, changed its arrangement, and intermingled the laws in such a way that the code prescribed by the Holy Prophet was totally disfigured. One who does so deliberately and considers it lawful is an infidel. One who does it knowing it to be unlawful is a sinner." According to this great scholar, Abu Hanifa was either an infidel or a sinner. Many other books condemn Abu Hanifa. Jarullah Zamakhshari, the author of ‘Tafsir al-Kashshaf’ and one of your pious ulama’, writes in Rabiu'l-Abrar that Yusuf Ibn Asbat said: "Abu Hanifa rejected at least 400 hadith of the Prophet of Islam." Yusuf remarked that "Abu Hanifa said: 'Had the Prophet of Islam known me, he would have accepted many of my sayings.'" Your own ulama’ have made similar criticisms of Abu Hanifa and the other three Imams. They can be found in Ghazali's ‘Mutahawwal’, Shafi'i's ‘Nuqtu'sh-Sharifa’, Zamakhshari's Rabiu'l-Abrar, and Ibn Jauzi's Muntazim. Imam Ghazali says in his Mutahawwal, "There are many mistakes in Abu Hanifa's work. He had no knowledge of etymology, grammar, or hadith." He also writes, "Since he had no knowledge of hadith, he relied on his own conjecture. The first being who acted on conjecture was Satan." Ibn Jauzi writes in his Muntazim, "All the ulama’ are united in condemning Abu Hanifa. There are three categories of such critics: one group holds that his faith in the fundamentals of Islam was uncertain; another says that he lacked a strong memory and could not remember hadith; a third believes that he acted on conjecture and that his opinion was always at variance with the true hadith." Your own ulama’ have criticized your Imams. The Shi’as ulama’ have not attributed anything to them except what your own ulama’ have said about them. On the other hand, there is no difference of opinion among the Shi’as ulama’ concerning the position of the twelve Imams. We regard the Holy imams as the pupils of the same teaching. These Imams - all of them - acted according to divine laws which the last of the Prophets gave them. They never acted on conjecture or approved of innovations. What they said or did agreed with the sayings of the Prophet. Hence, there was no difference among them. Most Sunnis are ignorant about Islam. They do not know who, when and why somebody named them Sunni Muslims instead of Muslims. It is easy to manipulate an ignorant. Daesh is manipulating ignorant Sunni to join them. Syrian and Iraqi Sunni invited them as their Sunni brothers to help them. They named themselves ISIS (Daesh) in Syria. Now Daesh is beheading the Sunnis too. I came across the following information about the origin of Sunni name. I asked 100's of Sunni scholars but nobody knew the origin of Sunni name then I researched myself from Sunni books and found the following reason. 1- Umer bin Khatab appointed a small council from his death bed to appoint his successor with the condition that his successor has to follow the Sunnah of his predecessors (AbuBaker and Umer) and if the nominee does not accept this condition his head should be cut off. The council offered Khilafat to Ali with this condition but Ali (as) said . ““I shall act according to the Book of God, and the Sunnah of His Apostle. As for following the precedents of Abu Bakr and Umar, I have a judgment of my own, and I am going to use it.” The council did not cut his head. Uthman accepted that condition and became Khalifa. After the death of Uthman, Ali became Khalifa and Muaweeya became against him. Muaweeya needed something against Ali so he told his followers that Ali rejects the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer but Muaweeya accepts the Sunnah of AbuBaker and Umer. Muaweeya called his followers AHLE-SUNNAH. There were no newspapers, TV, Radio, good transportation at that time. Ruler’s orders were the only news. If anybody was against the ruler, they used to cut his head off. Many people joined Muaweeya and were known as Ahle-Sunnah. Muaweeya fought with Ali and made a fraudulent pact with Ali . Muaweeya realized that he could not fool Muslims forever so he declared that he had treaty with Ali . NOW WE ARE UNITED AS ONE UMMAH. He added WA JAMAIT to show unity among all Muslims. Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait became the religion of rulers. It fitted well for them. Every ruler after Muweeya protected this Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait because it accepted them Khalifa. THIS IS ALL IN SUNNI BOOKS. Ottoman empire started as SULTAN not Khalifa but then they realized the political benefits of Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait. They became Ahle-Sunnah wal Jamait and declared themselves KHALIFA. This is the origin of Ahle-sunnah wal Jamait (SUNNI).

Menetapkan bahawa umat Islam di Malaysia hendaklah hanya mengikut ajaran Islam yang berasaskan pegangan Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah dari segi akidah, syariah dan akhlak. ii. Memperakukan bahawa ajaran Islam yang lain daripada pegangan Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah adalah bercanggah dengan Hukum Syarak dan Undang-undang Islam; dan dengan demikian penyebaran apa-apa ajaran yang lain daripada pegangan Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah adalah dilarang. Menurut warta pengharaman Syiah, Seksyen 34 - Akta Pentadbiran Undang-Undang Islam (Wilayah - Wilayah Persekutuan) 1993 : Menetapkan bahawa semua umat Islam warganegara ini (Malaysia) adalah tertakluk kepada undang-undang Islam dan Hukum syarak yang berasaskan pegangan kepada ajaran Ahli Sunnah Wal-Jama"ah sahaja. Manakala menurut Seksyen 31(1) dan Seksyen 32 Enakmen Pentadbiran Perundangan Islam Negeri Selangor 1989 berkenaan warta pengharaman Syiah : mana-mana orang Islam adalah dilarang berpegang kepada ajaran-ajaran dan fahaman tersebut (Syiah) kerana ia bertentangan dengan pegangan Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah. Larangan ini meliputi ; untuk mengajar, mengamalkan berpegang kepada atau menyebarkan ajaran-ajaran atau fahaman-fahaman yang terkandung di dalam ajaran dan fahaman Syiah kecuali untuk amalan individu itu sendiri. Berdasarkan kenyataan ini, disimpulkan bahawa : a) Seluruh umat Islam warganegara Malaysia hendaklah berpegang hanya kepada Ahli Sunnah Wal-Jamaah dari segi akidah, syariah dan akhlak. b) Warganegara asing dibenarkan untuk mengamalkan Syiah selagimana ia diamalkan secara amalan individu itu sendiri. Kerana itu, kita pelik pasal apa Iran sibuk sangat nak campur tangan hal Syiah di Malaysia? Waktu serbuan di Gombak, seorang ayatullah Syiah turut hadir sebagai penceramah. Bukankah itu dah keluar dari term amalan individu itu sendiri (bagi warga asing)? Wallahu a'lam.

Saudi clerics have reacted angrily to recent remarks by Egyptian Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, who excluded Salafists from Sunnis during a religious conference in Chechnya, Russia. During a conference in Grozny, Chechnya, Sheikh Tayeb said that Salafists were not Sunnists, while he was defining what is meant by Sunnism. The online Arabic-language Ray al-Youm website said in a report on Monday that the remarks caused a storm of anger among pro-government clerics in Saudi Arabia. They said the rhetoric used by the Egyptian cleric during the conference was more in line with a policy to weaken Wahhabism practiced in Saudi Arabia and establish a new, dominant Sunni leadership under the auspices of al-Azhar in Egypt. According to the report, several Saudi clerics said the conference, attended by thinkers from Egypt and other Sunni-dominated countries, was an attempt by the Russian government to deepen the gap between Saudi Arabia and Egypt -- two leading Sunni Muslim nations of the world. The Russian initiative was meant to sow discord in the Islamic world, they claimed, saying the conference targets the Kingdom. The report comes just one day after the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars in Riyadh warned against what it called inciting and stoking sedition among Muslims belonging to different schools of thought. “It is not prudent to ignite crises and trigger misadventures of political nature, as well as intellectual affiliations and sloganeering, to demonize the Muslims and thereby widening divisions,” the council said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency. More than 100 Muslim clerics from various countries, including Russia, Syria, Turkey, India, Britain, Lebanon, Egypt, South Africa and Jordan, attended the Grozny conference on August 25-17 to disassociate themselves and Sunnism from the Takfiri terrorist groups that have been wreaking havoc in the Middle East and other places. The scholar attendees, most of them well-known in the Muslim world, said the groups like Daesh, which fight under the banner of Wahhabism, have no links to Sunnism altogether. The Saudi government, along with its allies, has been among the main sponsors of Takfiri militants. According to reports, the Riyadh regime has recently stepped up its support for Takfiri militants in the face of the Iraqi army's upcoming liberation of Mosul and the Syrian army's advances in Aleppo and elsewhere.
