Flint Michigan! They didn’t always have a strict key board musician. They were only three to being with. 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

They added Craig Frost to the band to help fill out the overall sound on keyboards after a few years. They’re from Michigan 👍

Flint Michigan!!! I met them several times, as my high school boyfriend jammed with them sometimes! Great band! Great musicians. Especially Mark Farner!

Live in cobo hall detroit on tour 1973 or 4. Buy their live cd. They have 2 of them. These songs sold millions of records. I played them on detroit radio. They are from flint, michigan. People loved them. This clip is from their last live lp.

Grand Funk Railroad was the three man band 1969 to 1972 (Mark, Don & Mel), split from producer Terry Knight, they lost the Railroad part in name and picked up the 4th man Craig Frost keyboards to run on as Grand Funk until 1976 and called it quits. Those early years 1969 through 1971 are the songs that set the arenas on fire around the world. Sins A Good Man's Brother is a song that you really need to hear, timeless.

They added keyboardist Craig Frost in 1972 who had previously been with the Bob Seger band and still performs with them today.

Only 2 bands sold out Shea Stadium in NY. First was The Beatles, 2nd was Grand Funk Railroad BUT GFR sold out 2 weeks faster than The Beatles did! They were truly an American band. Have you to reacted to that song yet? You need to "We're An American Band"
