That cantina would make a good two car garage if you did something with the door to the street. I think that 2nd apartment could be redesigned into a couple of bedrooms and new bathroom. I'd get rid of that one bathroom and put in a proper stairway to the roof terrace. That back bedroom with the gorgeous ceiling would make a nice library/study. I'd say that was part of a palazzo at one time with the size of that living room and the floor. Ciao😊

That huge room is spectacular. My furniture and art would already match those gorgeous floors. Thanks for shoeing this property. I'm still torn deciding between Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia. I don't mind a hot dry summer, but arthritis makes it hard to function when it is below 50°F in the winter.

Beautiful! Definitely would want to take advantage of the roof terrace so a more comfortable way to get upstairs would be needed. Hopefully an easy fix. ❤️🇮🇹

The terrace is just large enough for a small chair and table. It looks like a great place to put a foldable umbrella for shade.

Ciao Fiorella and Aden, I totally agree with you, if possible, to expand the kitchen, and make the rest of the room a nice dining room. Also, you will need to put a bed on the terrace, a few glasses of Vino and there is no coming down those stairs alive. LOL. I really love this house. The cantina is a bonus, it's a good size and in good condition. Thank you for showing this listing. Amore da N.Y.

Thank you! A gorgeous home!the bathroom and terrace entrance would have to be restructured for me. Repurpose that bathroom and put normal and safer stairs to the terrace. Install another bathroom elsewhere. I agree that room outside the kitchen should be an expanded kitchen and dining area. I am curious how the other apartment looks. It may be beneficial to buy and combined the two places together. I hope you do a tour of that property next.

Never commented before. Beautiful grand room floor tile. In my mind i thought more homes would have this italian pattern tiles, but only a few you have shown in a room here or there. Also one of the first homes i have seen where they painted the walls. Beginning to think that everyone just had white walls.

The tiny apartment for 17,000 behind the closet seems like it would combine to make a decent apartment for everything on the right of the main stairs. The other two huge rooms on the left of the main stairs probably need whatever is hiding behind the bricked up doorways to be an ideal main property. That's just my thoughts, since I would NEVER divide up that 60m room or deface it with a kitchen. That bathroom with the terrace access needs to get ripped out and replaced with a staircase.

...nice view from terrace. Can you fit one or more lounge chairs on the terrace? ? Telescope 🔭 yes . To capture the Gods at play. !! Ha ha. Also is the water spring still flowing into well?? If yes does it over flow ? That's why there is a grate ? I think in the grand room. There are blocked door ways to the other now apartment for sale. I know. A lotof ??? Love 💘 this one

How has no one ever thought to use that gigantic space over the stairwell to create a path up to the roof terrace rather than coming up and down thru the toilet? Or would buying the 2nd unit help better to having a more sensible access?

The only way I’d consider is buying both, getting rid of that ridiculous bathroom and installing a proper staircase to the terrace.

nice and interesting home! one question - do you have any idea why do most Italian homes use different floor tiles in each room + bathroom? it is very visually distracting (for me at least) 💥😃
