Thank you. It is a fantastic property. It should be noted that English seemed to be the third most popular language on site after Korean and Chinese. Other than that, awesome amenities and helpful staff.

Incredible followup to the JW Marriott video. I love the addition of the mini-map. That’s pretty weird about the arbitrary filming rules. But given that, it’s good you were able to get as much as you did.

I’m glad that you enjoyed the review. Thank you for noticing the mini map. I felt it was necessary for the floors with a ton of stores and restaurants. Yeah. I’ve seen others’ videos of the property, so I didn’t expect to receive as much resistance as I did. But I managed to get footage of the gym and indoor pool five minutes prior to closing and the kids arcade when it was empty. It was impossible to do walkthroughs of the restaurants or the club lounge for this hotel.

Grand Hyatt Jeju opened in December 2020. I would consider that a fairly new hotel.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, Hyatt changed Grand Hyatt Jeju from category 4 to category 5 at the end of March 2023. Now standard awards cost 20,000 Hyatt points per night and off season awards are 17,000 Hyatt points per night. huge bummer. i think Grand Hyatt Jeju at the new award prices is decent value.

I read The Shilla Jeju, Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino, and Jeju Oriental Hotel & Casino have casinos. I haven’t visited these properties so I cannot personally confirm

I do not know the answer to that since Grand Hyatt Jeju’s casino is the only Jeju casino that I have visited in Jeju. Some articles claim that KAL Hotel or Marriott have the largest casino on Jeju
