@@montlon1011 Hii I'd be glad If you could give me advice.. for this Summer, I can decide to visit to Seoul or Tokyo; I've already been to Tokyo and that city was my favourite thing in the world, I'm afraid I will end up comparing Seoul to it and not enjoying my trip if I go to SK. Also I still have a lot of places left to go to in Tokyo that Seoul doesn't have, on the other hand in SK I would visit a new Country and try new things. What would you recommend to choose?
@montlon10118 ай бұрын
@@ouui I literally just came back from Seoul 24 hours ago. I've been to Japan 8 times. I will go again and again. Every time I learn something new, I see something unique, and I am always impressed by its standards. I would love the opportunity to live there for one or two years, or more. I had a very nice time in Seoul, but I could not help but compare everything to Tokyo, but Tokyo does everything much better. I found it hard to find anything I wanted to photograph in Seoul. People rave about the street food. But it was all cooked in so much oil, I did not think it looked appealing or healthy. I am pleased to have experience Seoul, but I do not need to go again, and to be honest I don't know what its identity is. I believe I will quickly forget it. It does not have the sophistication of Tokyo. It does not have the beauty of Japan. I also have many Japanese customers. When a Japanese person considers another Japanese person rude or vulgar or unsophisticated they say "You are like a Korean"

The only thing I could NOT find at Insadong shopping district was (very strangely!) a large Korean flag to take home to NZ. I bought a few small ones, and LOTS of small gifts, including golden Hangul-stamped bookmarks, many lovely fridge magnets, some small ceramic Korean chickens, lots of small carved wooden ducks, a shadow-frame box with three traditional Korean theatre masks, and some small Korean side-dish bowls. When my wife and I arrived in Korea, we had 27 kilos of baggage. When we left we had 57 kilos of checked baggage. I absolutely loved my time in Korea. It felt like jumping 25 years into the future. The Korean people are amazingly quiet, and kind, and polite. That makes all the difference in the world, and everywhere you go in Korea you will be warmly welcomed, and you will never experience rudeness, or aggression, or be scared in any way. The lifestyle is intense in Seoul, but everything just seems to work, and it's thrilling to be embedded in such a place. The next time I return to Seoul, it will be for a six month stay (at least), because there are so many places I want to visit.

Thanks for sharing all the info of your trip, the food looks yummy, mind I ask how many days did you spend in South Korea with all the places you visited? We are planning to go to South Korea end of August/early September 2024 but couldn't decide how many days to spend there.
@withTOKKI8 ай бұрын
we stayed for about 1 week! maybe recommend a little bit more if you want to do everything, and especially if you want to travel to a different city like Busan via the bullet train. everything is really walkable in Seoul so you can pack a lot in if you don’t mind busy days 🫶🏼 thank you! enjoy your trip ♥️♥️♥️

it took me a little less than a week to film all of this - but we were very busy haha! I think to cover everything on a vacation leisurely, between a week or two in seoul should be good. thank you so much for watching
