I’m playing this next year, and I’m honestly disappointed how my band director had to choose such an easy piece because our band is never able to be good enough for more advanced songs. Most of the band doesn’t care about the work and just messes around

We’re doing this show my sophomore year, and I am SO EXCITED! I tried out for the flute solo and I’m almost 100% sure I got it. Our band director was literally my flute teacher for a little less than 5 years before he started teaching at our school, and he’s not using bias nor seniority to pick the soloist, but he did teach me well, and I’m confident in my abilities. This is his first year as a director, and he picked the best show ever, imo. Can’t wait to perform this!💕
