Phew. Does it get any better than this! All four ladies with their own unsurpassed style. It is a true meeting of the greats of ballet. All four are national and international heroines, and no wonder. Yet these etoiles come together for this performance clearly acknowledging the greatness of their three "sisters".

I had the chance to be there! Little did I know that I was watching what was probably a one in a lifetime event. I do not recall another time in which four prima ballerinas joined together on stage. A memory to treasure forever

I love how you can see Evdokimova springing up just a little higher than everyone else, and landing a little softer, yet she is still perfectly on the music.

The very end particularly is perfection. Oddly, as happens in the opening section, here too, the allegro footwork (échappés & passés back-to-back, moving around to the right) gets a bit jumbled/messed. Looks like maybe Mlle. Fracci does an extra échappé rather than a passé at one point. Picky, I know. Doesn't change the fact that it's lovely & instructive to have this. THANK YOU!
