Welcome back race fans! Today we have the 1994 French Grand Prix as part of our Grand Prix 2 career mode. After a slightly disappointing mechanical failure at the last round in Canada, we'll be hoping to get back to firing on all cylinders today.
Michael Schumacher has his grip firmly on that potential first Championship and the German will be looking to make it three wins on the spin today.

I love the commentary. I'm thinking of contributing. We could even enable multiplayer. It should be possible to take over memory registers to control players and synchronize state with a central server. Imagine that. Totally doable. Need a couple of people and we're on it.

Hi James. I'm really enjoying your series with this game and mod. I've managed to get the game running on my laptop now, which makes me happy. I found something that you mentioned in a previous race. Editing the driver name in the game caused me issues and a crash at the race results after a race. Also, while typing the name, it came up all in capitals and no lower case. Maybe that is an issue and also wouldn't load back the default driver names files or my custom name save file. Unfortunately I've had to run the game through the very first build (which I saved) of the x86 mod, as the newer builds wouldn't take me to the game and instead give me just a white box on the pop up to go to the games front menu. Apparently, according to the developer Hatcher, it's a conflict with inadequate or old gpu cards. Hey ho 😂

There was a high attrition rate back in '94. So even the lesser funded teams had a realistic chance of scoring, even though only the first six cars got points.
