Invincible is an American comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, illustrated by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, and published by Image Comics. 10:20 - I tried to explain this to people when Nolan said it might be better if Mark hadn't gotten his powers in episode 1 of the animated series. He didn't say it because he wasn't proud of Mark. He said it because Mark getting his powers was the trigger for Nolan to start conquering Earth. It was confirmation that Viltrumites could breed on Earth.

@@TheEmperorOfViltrum He doesn't have any other kids on Earth, because Mark was the test run to see if their powers could be sustained over generations on Earth (I can't remember if he had kids on other planets, but he might since he's been around for over 500 years). There wouldn't have been enough time or manpower to conduct multiple tests on Earth (less than 50 Viltrumites are alive and they're spread around to other worlds at this point in the story), especially when they weren't sure yet. They were still checking planets with sentient life to see if their powers could transfer over generations, so they could repopulate the Viltrumite species. Earth so far is the only planet where that seems to be possible. So it was never about wanting to conquer Earth and enslaving humanity for Nolan. It's literally about preserving his species, which is critically endangered.

Hey Rob, I have a #request if you don't mind considering it: A video or series called Buying Comics Explained. Been getting into it over the past year, and it's just so ridiculously convoluted and/or complicated to buy comics. Common issues: * Individual issues vs graphic novels. I usually just read the graphic novels - and sometimes just skip them altogether, out of frustration, and listen to one of your episodes - because it's annoying/impossible to find out which issues I need so that I can get the full story. * Let's say I like Venom, and I want to just start reading the current run of Venom... how would I go about finding that run, what it's called, finding the first one, and just getting all of those comics up until current? How could I ensure I can continue to get them without going digital? (art needs to be held and experienced as intended damnit). I like comics, but buying comics really sucks. Can you explain it?
