It kinda makes sense that team past won, almost all of the splatoon 1 vets went team past and were basically just animals on the battlefield. GG team future, we tried our best but we got curbstomped.

I’m one of the few splat 1 vets that went team future bc I thought splat 3 was already an attempt at bringing back the splat 1 vibes with the rehash of the specials from that game but that’s really all they did. I’m down for splat 4 to truly do it right

I fought like heck for team past. I have never cared as much about a Splatfest theme as much as this one, but I would've been happy whoever won, I love all the games! I have played since the first testfire in Splatoon 1. Loved it all the way back during its first Nintendo Direct. Went out and bought a Wii U for it, even as a kid with heavily limited savings, despite recognizing it was a deeply struggling console. Here's to Splatoon 4 developing well!

For the past two years I've been pretty ambivalent about tricolor, but I loved it at the Grand Festival Bowl. Its the only thing I played the entire last day. It goes to show that its actually a pretty good mode when the map is made with tricolor in mind. I hope we get to play it again at some point

The performances in the morning were what really got to me. I loved everything about the grand fest, I spent so much time just watching the performances, but once it came to morning and we got the two hours of performances, that just made me sad yet happy. Also got me to finally purchase some Splatoon amiibos because I'd like the opportunity to go see some of the performances again, even if it isn't going to be the same

Damn, wish I could’ve participated in this. Didn’t even know it was thing until just now. Been playing since the very beginning of the series, but just haven’t been able to put time in the last year or so due to having a child, trying to start my own business, investing time in training for athletic competitions, so on and so forth. I know a lot of people said “OMG I’m crying 😭😭😭” when talking about the Grand Festival, I legitimately cried when it all happened and it wasn’t that serene, beautiful too. I was so sad to see it all go. I’ve been with Splatoon for 8 years. I’ve seen ups and downs, made incredible memories, grew as player and as a person. All of it culminated in this Festival which no adjective I could use would make justice to explain just how amazing it was. I am so glad and thankful for being able to live that moment and this will forever be one of my most treasured memories. And even though it pains me to say goodbye, the reason I chose team future was because you have to look forward. Thank you, Splatoon for the thrilling battles you allowed me to take part in. For all the charismatic, lovable characters I met. And for every wonderful thing you let me, and millions of people around the world experience.

I already miss the Grand Festival Bowl sooo frickin much the vibes of the stage with actual crowd noises while battling, the idols announcing you and counting down for the match to begin and the unique dynamic gimmick for the now or never theme as well as Rainbow Color Inkantation in itself made this tri-color map sooo unforgetable and amazing!! The map also was super fun to play on despite being difficult sometimes with so much going on but that added to the whole feeling of this being the big finale. I really hope we get the ability to play splatfest (tri-color) matches in pbs, fingers crossed for it being an addition to a balance patch in the future or something

Oh no, I was capturing things for like HOURS. Seriously. I was on almost the entire 72 hours of the fest and had a 1 Terabyte hard-drive that I was using to constantly record ALL of it, and probably like 20 of those hours collectively were just in the venue.

My favourite detail from the Grand Festival is what happened to the fabric roof of the Great Clam Stage. During the evening performance the fabric is intact. But during the night time performance the fabric is seen slowly burning away, presumably having catched fire from one of the flamethrowers on the stage. And during the afterparty in the morning, the fabric is completely gone. Truly a 'the show must go on' moment. Or maybe the 'organizers' of the festival had planned this?

Past as a theme four Splatoon 4 has always been so exciting for me. Specifically what Chara mentioned with the Great Turf War. There's a vast potential for new mechanics and new stuff in general to be baked into the GTW. Maybe there are two campaigns, one experiencing Octavio's perspective and one as a part of the Squidbeak Splatoon. So many questions could be answered and there's so much potential for a lore filled, well thought out game! Not to mention seeing old predecessors to weapons, like getting to use the Squidbeak's bamboozler instead of just the same old hero shot. Seeing Cuttlefish and Octavio in their primes would also just be kinda funny in my opinion lol High fives all around to my team past, and ggs to present and future, this truly was a wonderful fest :D

Grand Festival was incredible. I am so glad I had the weekend off and got to experience it. My team may not have won, but I made it to ruler and won a 333x battle, basically it was everything I could have hoped for.

This was easily one of the biggest events for a game I have ever seen, and it was a perfect send-off for Splatoon 3. As a veteran that’s been with the series since the first game, it was such an amazing love letter. I even won my first and only 333x battle! As a roller main and team past I decided to use big swig the whole splatfest, I thought it would be entirely for the paint but turns out I had a lot of skill with the thing, it’s big hitboxes made it so kills were easy and I got the most kills in my team about half of the time!

I was on team future. But I feel proud of myself in the grand festival. On the big run it was my 1st time killing the 3 bosses, it was my 1st time beating max hazard (I had 1 go when i joined a friend on a previous big run before but lost it) I also beat the 3 bosses at max hazard as well. On the main splatfest I got more 100x battles then i ever had on a splatfest (disappointed I didn't get 333x battles) and I won all but 1 of them. Splatoon 3 was my very first splatoon game and yes I'm not great or fantastic at the game I still had fun. Yes my team came stone dead last but hand on heart I tried and won about 5 or 6 100x battles for my team. I choose team future because I'm always thinking of the future, I liked squid sisters when I first watched people playing splatoon 1, and I like many off the hook songs, but I'm always thinking of the future and splatton 3 was my first game so i went with team future. Especially since I hate thinking of my past.
