Y'know, Tim, I made a pair of glasses when I was in high school that would fit right in to your collection. I used an old set of frames for perfectly round lenses, and I mounted two sets of lenses on each side, made of polarized material. One lens on each side was fixed in place, and the other lens had a little handle on it. So the idea was that you could use the handle to rotate the movable lens, and because the lenses were polarized, it would let more or less light through depending on how you rotated it. So they were manually adjustable sunglasses. I think you'd have appreciated them.

I was the kinda kid that tore things apart, to answer some strange driven curiosity, that thinking back on it, seemed to possess me as a child ! This served as a catalyst for experimenting with other bird feathers, I might find during my travels ! Some working better than others, oddly enough ! I would encourage anyone reading this to try this illusion, as it is quite effective !
