Y'know, Tim, I made a pair of glasses when I was in high school that would fit right in to your collection. I used an old set of frames for perfectly round lenses, and I mounted two sets of lenses on each side, made of polarized material. One lens on each side was fixed in place, and the other lens had a little handle on it. So the idea was that you could use the handle to rotate the movable lens, and because the lenses were polarized, it would let more or less light through depending on how you rotated it. So they were manually adjustable sunglasses. I think you'd have appreciated them.

+sj4389gee Mate, for a person with perfect vision on both the eyes, the lights from the outside world gets inside the eyes and gets screened on the surface of the retina(which is itself a 2D surface), which then gets sent to the brain in the form of optical signals. It's the brain that combines the 2D images from both the eyes and the combination gives the person an illusion of 3D.

I was the kinda kid that tore things apart, to answer some strange driven curiosity, that thinking back on it, seemed to possess me as a child ! Some things would go back together, others I was content to leave in their disassembled state ! It was during one of these moments, I learned that my X-ray glasses, were nothing more than a small piece of Peacock feather, sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard, that made up the lenses, which each had a small hole which to gaze at the world ! This served as a catalyst for experimenting with other bird feathers, I might find during my travels ! Some working better than others, oddly enough ! I would encourage anyone reading this to try this illusion, as it is quite effective ! Like so many things in Life for me, the question begs, who was the first person that decided, " I think I'll look through this feather " ! 🦚 🤔......?

waffl3sk4t why not wear them all day long? it'd help a lot of people not make the mistake of talking to a person who unironically thinks triggered jokes are funny

well then you seem to be making a good example of yourself, so why don't you go ahead and repeat the same 'mistake" twice while you're at it.

Honestly, no one would be able to take you seriously and there's really not much benefits (Or a intelligent idea to begin with) in trying to offend random strangers in real life. (Hint: It's not the internet. You don't get out much, do you?) Plus, the only people I imagine wearing them would be basic douches and other people that people tend not wanting to associate with. You're better off with the first glasses.
